Was sat in my car 4 weeks ago, thinking how there's not much left in life to hope for at 39 after breaking off a long bad relationship with my partner and his kids, losing 2 jobs, failing health and building depression. This song inspired me to call someone from my past who I met only once but never forgot. I always held him as the epitome of the perfect man and felt he was way out of my league. I thought screw it, it takes courage to not be the same. I called, turned out he was newly single too. 4 dates later... Thank you DoD.

I tried to come back here so hard. Found this song when I was at my lowest (or to the way down) and it lifted my spirits everytime I listend to it. Years later, I was only able to remember that there were these amazing scenes where the sun would hit the piano with rays of pure gold, two ghosts in a black & a white gown and the line "are you on your own again?" - man, it took some time to find your song again, but I'm glad I'm back. I missed this feeling so much 🖤
This song is like a hug for your heart
It just makes me cry, since it always reminds me of someone I've lost contact with a long time ago. This was one of the songs that kept them alive. But perhaps the tears are of happiness, since I know they'll be safe despite being alone.

I helped out my ten year old son today that tried to save a kitten .. but to no avail .... anyways I sent this video to him. he has a heart of Gold in an ugly world . this song gives him strength. regardless of money and sales realize how much your music touches innocent children like my son .

Nope, I don't get your point. It's the message in the song. That is the important thing, which the father wanted to give to his son. I don't know you, I don't judge you. I suffer with PTSD and IED every day I'm 34 and trying to get it right this time I pray we can all find the peace we search for inside and rip free of the baggage of our past and remember who we are this song gives me hope to keep trying ty for this!!

I remember that when I first listened to this I was still fighting depression and anxiety. This song almost made me tear up back then.
This song still make me feel a lot, but in another way... It's crazy how much has changed throughout the past 1 1/2 years, the past year, months etc. I'm not depressed anymore, much less anxious (although it still happens) and more confident. I feel like I'm on the right path in life - "Don't lose your heart, till you're where you wanna be", is worth it!
