  • In this video I review the 2023 Lincoln Navigator Black Label L... It is an ultra luxurious vehicle not only on the inside, but also with the ride and exterior styling. This is a BIG SUV, equating to tons of passenger room and storage space. I have no been in/driven a 2023 Cadillac Escalade yet, but I am willing to get the Navigator Black Label gives it a run for it's money.. Is the Navigator the right SUV for you? Watch the video and decide that for yourself...

    We drove both the Escalade and the Navigator. The specific Escalade msrp was about $107K. Navigator was $116K. So neither was base. We ultimately chose the Navigator. Both were excellent. The Escalade had the rear view camera (not the dash back up camera) which the Nav doesn’t offer. Also I understand the Super Cruise is the better hands free system. Ultimately the Navigator got the nod. The ride and drive was just as good as far as we could tell. The interior db sound tests we read/watched were the same. Interior appointments are outstanding. Yacht Club interior sold my wife. Importantly for us, we also wanted something a little different from all the black Escalades in our area.
    Both are brilliant. No loser between them. I do find a segment of Escalade owners to be like some Harley riders, cultish. (I have an Ultra Glide).
    It’s definitely a first world problem of which luxury ride to pick.

      Hey, you are blessed to be in the decision between an Escalade and a Navigator. At the end of the day, there really isn't a bad option. Congrats to you and your wife on the Navigator - I wish you many many reliable miles

    I just purchased a 2023 lincoln navigator black label. The driver seat is my issue. The hugger type wings they designed to cradle someone created painful jabbing into my ribcage. It is terrible. I dont know who they used to design this feature but they had to be no larger than a petite female.

    I didn't hear you mention the "HANDS FREE" Driving capability... In the left lane on the freeway... It drives for you... Without any real issues... Having to put your hands back onto the steering wheel... In the right lane it varies on the on-off ramps... Sometimes it wants you to put your hands back onto the steering wheel... Hands free... Good if you just picked up a Frosty... It's a pretty nice feature...

    I had a Cadillac Escalade ESV rental for vacation last year. This year I have a 2022 Lincoln Navigator L as a rental. Overall, I like the Escalade better! The ride quality is much better on the Escalade. The Navigator is ok, but the road noise is loud at cruising speed and it rides like a truck over bumps. The most glaring issue is the interior build quality, both vehicles have nice interiors. But it's more obvious on the Navigator where Lincoln cut corners. Where the Escalade has leather stitching the Navigator has fake stitching on Plastic. The leather seats on the Navigator are very comfortable, but they also deform and show wear so it's clearly low quality.

    Massage seats were much better on the navigator, interiors felt far more comfortable and luxurious compared to the escalade (edit). I’ll be watching your vid to orient my stepdad when he gets his nav.

      Comparing to an Escalade?

    • @AntiKaratekid
      @AntiKaratekid Год назад

      @@703Speed Yeah I forgot to add that to my post. Massage seats on the Escalade actually made me not want to get them. Ride was ever so slightly smoother on the Escalade but then again, that might be confirmation bias because I’ve been told over and over that it is. I doubt I’d be able to differentiate them in a true blinded test. Seats and comfort on the navigator blew it out of the water but the tech was cooler on the Escalade. I hear good things about super cruise as well. We slightly preferred the navigators style, but it’s pretty much a draw between them. All in all, we got a car to feel comfortable in and the navigator did that with more class. I honestly don’t like giant screens personally as well, I wonder about their durability and potential planned obsolescence. I think we’re going navigator at the right time to let them fine tune their approach to a next gen car. These days. It seems all manufacturers are all about screens everywhere which seems almost childish.

    Interior is so outdated....I mean, it looks 10 years old already....The problem is that island pop up navigation screen, it just look in the way....Most new SUV's , like the Cadillac Escalade have the screen integrated within the dash, with a continuous screen going from the driver side to the passenger side. This SUV is a FLOP
