Forever and ever amen.
Yes, welcome to Home Free, all acapella, no instruments at all. Masters of all musical genres. Organized in a college dorm in Minnesota in 2000; they won the 4th season of the Sing Off in 2013. Two are from Minnesota, one from Georgia, one from Texas and one from Alabama (Current members, Chris left the group in 2016 and was replaced by Chance). Their covers are upgrades, their medleys are brilliant, their collaborations with the original artists are inspirational, and their original songs are masterpieces. Within this 5 man vocal band you have 5 tenors, 5 beat boxers, and 2 bass-baritones. Adam Rupp, one of the original founders of the group, is their beat boxer extraordinaire. All of them can sing lead and they choose depending on whose voice best fits the song. They can do just about anything and they continue to grow and improve, yet they remain so humble. When they have featured guest artist, they support and allow their featured artists to shine. Several of them have their own channels and do some solo work. And just for fun Rob and Austin sing Opera. What else can I say? Their catalogue of work is quite large and continues to grow. You are in for an exciting journey and the Home Fries will be there for you all the way.
Thanks for reacting to this Home Free song they are a group that the more you learn about them the more you like them.
More HomeFree
You have just been introduced to the best a cappella group out there. These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there with a 5 octave range & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound. This song is very old & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney.
I am so pleased that you have found Home Free they are amazing. Please do try and listen to them singing Mary Did you Know it is perfect for this time of the year. Blessings to you keep strong.
Home Free is incredible. Everything they do is great. And although they are a Country A-cappela group, they can really sing all genres. They really all have great voices with their own specialties. Even Adam Rupp who started the group with his brother Chris Rupp. Chris left the group in 2016 to go solo but also to start other projects with his sister, among others.
Adam Rupp-Beatboxer but is actually an inhuman freaking good mouth artist.
Tim Foust- Deep bass but also as a tenor and everything in between is possible.
Austin Brown-High tenor with his great runs and high notes.
Rob Lundquist (beard and glasses)-Tenor, with a voice like velvet and so much soul.
Adam Chance (back left, who is called Chance) - Baritone/ Bass, a voice so smooth and sexy. And who here also makes the Jaw harp sound.
There is no permanent lead singer in Home Free. They look at every song whose voice suits it best, the best harmony, no egos, no rivalries, great personalities etc. Besides, they can all beatbox (see their live performance 9to5). ..
This is one of the many covers they do in addition to various originals, and each one is just amazing.
Take the time to discover Home Free because it will be a great tour. For me they are number 1 A-Cappella groupI
More, more, more Home Free, please!
Welcome new Home Fry!! Nana Karen UK
More Home Free, please!
New sub! Came for the #Homefree they are 5 of the most talented guys in music today! All of them individually are incredible, but together as Home Free they are phenomenal. They have a huge catalogue of music. You should give their cover of the Doobie Brothers Listen to the Music a listen. Its amazing! Thank you for sharing your story with us. You are right! You got this! Its times like this you realize just how strong you are. And may your journey be filled positive thoughts and healing love. Prayers from us Home Fries ( Home Free Fans). Thank you for your reaction! Have a blessed day!
You are such a sweetheart! Thank you so much for watching❤️❤️❤️
@@BurnitdownMediaOfficial thank you💕
The original song was published in 1913 and later covered by Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and a host of others. Their singing & harmonies & Adam's percussion are always incomparable. Home Free has seasonal collaborations with Kenny Rogers ("Children Go Where I Send Thee"), The Oak Ridge Boys & Jeffrey East ("Beautiful Star of Bethlehem") and Alabama ("Christmas in Dixie"). Love from a new subscriber.
Just subscribed with hopes for more Home Free. They are the best! They do a huge variety of music and each have a very impressive vocal range. I don't even think of them as an acapella group anymore. They're just my favorite band! Looking forward to more .
Chris, you have to do more Home Free. They are the best honest acapella out there. Awesome.
Welcome to the best Acapella group. These guys are so talented and can sing any genre. CK out Ring of Fire💗💗💗
Bright Blessings to you. Enjoyed you watching Home Free. Will send healing energy along.
The guys of Home Free would love to get to know you 😊 they often interact with reactors 😊 they appreciate you getting their music out to others. They are
Austin Brown tenor 1
Rob Lundquist tenor 2
Adam Chance Baritone
Tim Foust Bass
Adam Rupp Beatboxer
Love Home Free! And this song is one of my favorites of theirs. They're right up there with Pentatonix as the "Gold Standard" of acapella music. There's a lot of crossover in the fanbases of the two groups, and we consider ourselves "PentaFries" (a blend of Pentaholics and Home Fries). If you haven't already heard these, I'll recommend a couple that I think you'd love... "Mayday", which is not only a great song, but full of some surprises. and their collaboration with Lee Greenwood and singers from the US Air Force Band on "God Bless the USA".
Will be praying for you!!! Home Free is the group I listen to most. The first song I heard them do was their video of "Angels We Have Heard On High", back in 2014.
Subbed for more of our wonderfully talented young men Home Free ❤
If you want your mind blown and you like Christmas music, check out their version of Do You Hear What I Hear. It's now 8 years old and includes Chris Rupp who with Adam Rupp founded the group back in 2000. Chris left in 2016 replaced by Adam Chance. Please more @homefree reactions!
They have a lot of great videos in a variety of genres a lot of covers and some they've written
Great Reaction!! Welcome to Home Free rabbit hole.
The group started in 2001 by brothers Chris and Adam Rupp
They won The Sing Off season 4 2013 that's where they became very popular.
They are the only country A Capella ( all vocals no instruments)group but they are honestly do so so much more than just country music they can sing any genre and they do.
There is no Lead singer in the group. They each ( except Adam )sing the song and who’s ever voice or voices sound right for the song gets the lead unless is a bass/ baritone song then that’s Tim or Chance.A lot of time they each have a part in the song.
Fans of Home Free are known as Home Fries and are very loyal to the guys.

Great reaction! Love ❤️ #HomeFree. More please!🙏
New sub because of Home Free. Welcome to the "rabbit hole" known as Home Free. Hold on & enjoy the ride. If you keep reacting to HF us "home fries" will swarm.
#HOMEFREE
Home Free is the real deal. They’re so good. They can all sing and all take the lead depending on the song. The beatboxer was doing the drums, harmonica and other sounds. They are country but sing all genres. Try some Christmas music. O Holy Night, Mary Did You Know, Do You Hear What I Hear. Good reaction. Have a wonderful Christmas!!! 🥰😃
The guys are amazing with all the songs they do so very well. I won't leave any songs yet, simply because you have a nice lot to go through. Thank you for reacting to this song. Anything else is going to be great. God Bless.

🤟🤠🤟 I'll share your channel in a Home Free group on Facebook.
I’m glad you were impressed with these guys. They’re great at making you feel good…they are an awesome group of guys. They truly are great friends, no divas here. The lead on a song is designated by whose voice fits it the best. They love their Home Fries…us fans who love them & their amazing talent 💗🙃💗
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ‼️🎄❄️🎄‼️
So many exciting moments waiting for you with Home Free. Several people have replied with great requests ahead of me so I'll keep this short. Try "Children Go Where I Send Thee" ft Kenny Rogers, be sure to listen until the very end. Subbed to see if you decide to join us Home Fries here in the Home Free rabbit hole, you'll be warmly welcomed. Merry Christmas and blessings in abundance to you and all those you love.

Loved the look on your face dude...
Much love from across the pond x
New subscriber. Great reaction, too! I love it when people discover Home Free. They are a freakishly talented group of fellas that excel in all music genres. They can make you laugh sometimes, they can make you cry sometimes but they always impress. Here's a cheat sheet on the group: Adam Rupp, co-founder of HF and the awesome beatboxer. Tim Foust, bass. He has a five-octave range. Rob Lundquist (glasses and beard) Tenor Harmony. Austin Brown, Lead Tenor. Adam Chance, Baritone ( goes by Chance). Chance replaced Chris Rupp (co-founder) who left in 2016. Take Me Home Country Roads is phenomenal but you might also want to check out Dreamer, When A Man Loves A Woman, End Of The Road, One Man Band, American Pie featuring Don McLean, I Swear, Blue Ain't Your Color, Dive Bar Saints, The Driver, Crazy and Folsom Prison Blues. For some funny ones: Butts Medley, All About That Bass, Champagne Taste, Hillbilly Bone and Ray Stevens' Mississippi Squirrel Revival. For some serious ones: How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High On That Mountain. When you are familiar with all the boys and their vocal roles, do Mayday. And last but not least, Brothers In Arms. It is haunting and beautiful. They have recently released several new songs that you will want to check out. Unchained Melody, Listen to the Music, Brother and Stargazer Lilies trilogy: Give Me A Sign, Stargazer Lilies and Mr. ...Their latest releases are Might As Well Be Me, Playing With Fire, Remember My Name, Oh, Pretty Woman, Cruise, Stand By Me and Life is a Highway. To switch it up..try Two Country Singers try singing Opera. Adam Chance just wrote the theme song to Ubisoft's new Pirate themed video game, Skull and Bones and Home Free performs it. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole!
#HOMEFREE!
I love Homefree, you would probably like a lot of their videos. Also you didn't mention it but the are an acapella group so all or the sounds were from them, there were no instruments in this! Their beatboxer Adam is amazing.
Listen to them do walk this land. ❤
Thank you for your reaction! I am so sorry that you are going through something so hard and serious. I will say a prayer for you for a full recovery. You could not have picked a better group to react to let me tell you! I discovered Home Free during the beginning of the pandemic which was a blessing for sure. I saw this video first also and have been hooked ever since. They have over 300 songs and videos to choose from but I will only request one other song of theirs to check out at least this time lol I think that you would enjoy their cover of I got that feeling originally done by Justin Timberlake, they did a great job with this one for sure!
I believe she means Can't Stop the Feeling.
Yep, my bad lol it was late I think. Oh well thanks for the correction :) @@MyLorissa
Good health to you my freind .
And...another one falls down the rabbit hole. You are so doomed. We’ll save you a chair.
You’re about to be buried in Home Fries. Brace yourself.
Home Free is the only country a capella group out there, but they can - and do - sing every genre. And they have no lead singer. Every one of these men can take the lead, and they pick the lead for each song by who does it the most justice. During quarantine, they kept all us Home Fries sane by dropping new videos every couple of weeks while they were scattered across the country. God bless ‘em.
All the men can beat box, but Adam is in a league of his own. He’s a world-class vocal percussionist and there’re good reasons he’s called a “Freak of Nature” and “the man who swallowed a drum kit.” For more of Adam’s incredible beat boxing, check out Sea Shanty medley (the man makes castanets, for Pete’s sake), his no-monica solo on Working For A Living and Ain’t Going Down Til The Sun Comes Up (that video is on Facebook), Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer (sleigh bells? seriously?) or his drum solos.
For more of Tim’s seismic basso profundo, listen to Brothers In Arms, Misty Mountains (his collaboration with Peter Hollens), Folsom Prison Blues, or Ring Of Fire (the Sing Off version). This man’s range is incredible. You won’t want to miss his 5-octave run in 5 seconds in “Do You Hear What I Hear?”
For Chance’s smooth baritone/bass, check out Skull & Bones, Down to the Honky Tonk, Brothers In Arms, Cover Me Up, I Can’t Outrun You, and Folsom Prison Blues. (Awesome.. basso profundo and a baritone/bass in the same group.) FYI, Chance is singing (throat singing) the jaw harp sounds - without the jaw harp - in Man Of Constant Sorrow.
For Rob’s soulful tenor, check out End of the Road, Blue Ain’t Your Color, or Bless The Broken Road. (Blue-eyed soul is in good hands with The Beard.) One Home Fry has described him as the vocal equivalent of a Swiss Army knife because of his versatility. Just wait until you hear him whistle!
For Austin’s soaring tenor, check out Crazy, Moonshine, When A Man Loves a Woman, or Bring Him Home. (But bolt down your chair ‘cause he’ll sing you right out of it.)
For their humor, check out Butts Remix, Working For A Living, Life Is A Highway, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Make You Feel My Love, Brother, and Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget (Tim wrote the worst country song he could think of, and it remains one of their most requested.) A word about “Brother” - if you want to hear the lyrics, you’re going to have to listen with your eyes closed, ‘cause otherwise you’ll never get past the humor of the video to actually hear what they’re singing.
For their amazing arrangement skills, check out Do You Hear What I Hear. (Adam’s arrangement. Nothing else like it.)
For their tight harmonies, check out Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, Brothers In Arms, or Auld Lang Syne.
For their mashups, check out Thinking Out Loud/Let’s Get It On, Fishing in the Dark/Boondocks, Country Fried Pop, or Woman, Amen/Female.
The Home Free men are masters of collaborations. They put the spotlight on their collaborator, supporting them with wonderful vocals and amazing harmonies. Check out God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood, American Pie with Don McLean, Elvira with The Oak Ridge Boys, Children Go Where I Send Thee with the late Kenny Rogers, Don’t Laugh At Me with Mark Wills, Christmas In Dixie with Alabama, Delta Dawn with Brooke Eden, or Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For with Peter Hollens.
Get at least five videos under your belt and then listen to Mayday - the official video. After Mayday, you’ll be ready for Tim and Austin doing My Maria or Tim’s mashup of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay.
Then, when you come up for air, check out Rob’s and Austin’s “Two Country Singers Try Singing Opera.” You’ll need smelling salts after that one.
Don’t miss their official videos. The Home Free men will often do a straight, gorgeous vocal performance, but they’ll add elements of humor to the video that will leave you chuckling or even laughing out loud. (Folsom Prison Blues, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Make You Feel My Love, Working For A Living, Brother).
And God help you when you get hit with the Home Free Curse. They’ll cover a song you absolutely cannot stand and make you like it against your will. I’d been hit by the curse four times before I gave up and quit counting. I’m not the only victim of the Home Free Curse, either.
Although their covers are amazing, don’t miss their original compositions. They range from the the poignant (So Long Dixie) to the patriotic (Land Of the Free). These include Dive Bar Saints (one of my favorites), Road Sweet Road, Catch Me If You Can, Give Me A Sign, Lonely Girl’s World, The Stargazer Trilogy, Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget, Love Me Like That, Skull And Bones, and many, many more.
Their synergy is phenomenal. Each is an artist in his own right, but man - when they sing together, magic happens. Wicked talent polished by decades of hard work. (Unchained Melody, Castle On The Hill, Seven Bridges Road, Only In America) To paraphrase another Home Fry, “They don’t just own a cover, they upgrade it.”
You are doomed, Home Fry. Bring ketchup.
Welcome to the Home Free Rabbit hole. It runs very deep. These guys will never ever disappoint. Love your reaction! Merry Christmas!
Check out their Christmas offerings "O Holy Night", "Mary Did You Know" and "Full of Cheer". Others..."Ring of Fire", "Go Rest High On That Mountain", "Crazy".

I’m not a huge country fan, and I haven’t heard many Home Free songs. But this is great. I agree with your mom ❤ Yes I would like to hear more!
Hi Christopher . I really like Home Free, they sing beautifully a cappella . Although I really enjoy the a cappella groups of today. It’s really main stream now. My favourite is Pentatonix but I’m very happy to hear more of Home Free on the channel. Glad your dentist appointment went well. Hugz xxx

If no one has officially welcomed you yet... Welcome to the "Home Fry" family (what us Home Free fans are called). Oh and also... Welcome to the rabbit hole, I'm so glad you are joining us.🐇🕳️😊
This is my 1st full video of you, I will keep you in my Prayers. 🙏🏻❤️
I think this was my first Home Free video, but now you will have to go and react to Geoff Castellucci's cover of this song. He plays a little guitar. Tim Foust is the one who gave Geoff tips on how to sing really low. Home Free and VoicePlay were on The Sing-Off together and are good friends.
Try some Kenny Roger's Lady or Dolly Parton Stairway to heaven Allen jackson
