These guys are amazing. They'll make you laugh (The Butts Remix). They'll make you cry (Brothers in Arms). They'll blow you away with the incredible beauty of their vocals (Helplessly Hoping). Whatever you listen to, you can't go wrong.
@Carla DeWitt you think you cry with Brothers in Arms? Check out their version of Travelin' Soldier first released by The Dixie Chicks. The guys changed the pronouns to cover the correct gender THEY would be singing the perspective from, and You're crying your eyeballs out even BEFORE the song ends! They are TRUE SINGING MASTERS!!!!
@@4Just1Girl Agreed. Actually, Sharon, I've only listened to that once because it was so painful. The other tearjerker of theirs that really hits me is Go Rest High on That Mountain.
Adam Rupp - beatboxer/percussionist extraordinaire is playing the "nomonica". Adam Chance -baritone/bass is playing the jaw harp. These guys are truly extraordinary. Hope to see more Home Free reactions! New sub, you're funny. Thanks! :-)
You're in for the journey of a lifetime. We Home Free fans are referred to as Home Fries. The sound you hear in the beginning and end is commonly called a jaw-harp. Adam Chance "Chance" is making that sound. Tim Foust (bass) has a 5 octave range. Tim, Austin and Chance also have individual RUclips channels. Home Free kept us sane during the lock down by releasing one new video each month. They would each use their cell phones to record their parts. Each of those quarantine songs have been released as an album. Home Free has 200+ RUclips videos. Enjoy the journey!
"In the blood" , " Ring of Fire" "My church" , "When a man loves a woman" " Go Rest High on that Mountain" That's a few more Home Free songs for you to listen to. All of us fans are called "Home Fries"
Welcome to the rabbit hole from the Home Fries! All will be explained below. Btw the Jews Harp sound is made by Baritone Adam Chance, and you see him doing it at the very end. The beat boxer is the amazing Adam Rupp. Austin is lead tenor, and the big guy Rob Is the second, tho always there with his beautiful voice somewhere. Rob Actually tho takes the lead in the Boyz2men cover. Tim Foust is the bass singer and can go so low, he has blown out many stage speakers! However his range is so crazy he can sing high tenor as well!
This song blew me away when I first heard it & I was completely hooked. These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound. This song is very old & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney.
Welcome to the rabbit hole of home free! They have so many selections to choose from across many different genres of music. I would suggest that you try next Boyz II Men end of the road.
Home Free is the cream of the crop as far as I'm concerned. They are 5 of the most insanely talented guys in the musical arena today. They are wildly popular and can and do sing any genre even tho' they lean towards country. We Home Fries (their fans) are fiercely loyal and you won't find a bad song from them. They are talented, hard working, humble, decent guys without ego who respect and appreciate their fans. High tenor, Austin Brown. Lower tenor, Rob Lundquist. Super bass, Tim Foust. Baritone/bass, Adam Chance (Chance) He was doing the jaw harp sound throughout using a throat singing technique. World Class Beat Boxer/Vocal Percussionist, Adam Rupp. He was doing the percussion and "no-monica". Word of caution. Once you get pulled into the rabbit hole, there's no going back. Not that you will want to.
Great reaction! Home Free is labeled a Country acapella group but they can do multiple genre. I haven't heard a bad song from them. If you decide to continue this journey of Home Free, Buckle Up you are in for a treat. The harmonica sound is coming from Adam Rupp (beatboxer) some call it the no-monica. The digeridoo sound is coming from Adam Chance, you can see the last person in the video. Austin Brown is the first singer. Rob Lundquist is the singer with the glasses. Tim Foust is the deep Bass singer.
That is not the sound of a didgeridoo, that is a jews harp (or jaw harp or mouth harp). Compare this twangy to the deeper sound of a didgeridoo in "Home Free Drum Solo."
Home Free is the real deal. They are an “a cappella” group so there’s no instruments. The beatboxer was doing the harmonica, drums and other noises. Chance (last on the video) was doing the mouth harp. They can all beatbox to a degree. Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range so he can sing super low and then sing up with the tenors. All are super talented. Try End of the Road, Blue Ain’t Your Color.
Welcome to the wonderful world of home free. Reaction was great, I love watching peoples reaction to the boys for the first time they are amazing! There are so many great songs by them that it's hard to pick just one or two to see their humorous side check out "The Butts Melody " "Country Fried Pop " or "Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget " one of the best ballads by anyone is their version of "When a Man Loves a Woman " another couple of songs that are great are"Woman/Amen-Female" and "End of the Road" (cover of Boys to men) but of course I haven't heard a bad song from them yet.
Welcome to Home Free IMO the best acappella band out there. They have almost 200 videos on YT to explore. Any of the suggestions already made by previous commenters would be a good starting point. I just subbed and am looking forward to your Home Free journey. Have a blessed day.
Wow!!! Experiencing Home Free and Pentatonix for the first time all in the same week. You’re on a roll, and I’m here for it. So much amazing, fun and entertaining music to react to ahead. Looking forward to it. Btw….You live in Florida and have never seen an alligator??? Now that’s impressive. Lol
@@Officialcammm yep, every day I watch people reacting to Pentatonix & Home Free, I’m a Penta-Fry for sure 😛. I’m currently obsessed with another great a cappella group, VoicePlay’s cover of Dream On, the arrangement is 🤯🤯🤯
He definitely needs to check out Voiceplay next. And Peter Hollens. Then eventually once he knows Tim and Geoff a bit better he can check out their solo stuff. Not sure how much 🤯🤯🤯 he’ll be able to handle at once though, we don’t want to over do it for him…. Or do we…? Lmao
Now for your next Home Free reaction, we'll blow your mind. Hear them cover End of the Road by Boyz2Men.....you'll be amazed. Trust me. Home Free is a country leaning acapella group...but they sing all genre's
Home Free is the best--period. It's easy to forget they are completely acapella and make all "instrumental" sounds themselves. In this song they are making a distinct southern (bluegrass) presentation--it definitely fits the lyrics of the song. Chance doing the jaw harp sound really sets the stage for this song's story. Tim's bass line completely grounds the harmonies and Adam's voice percussion simply cannot be beat. This performance highlights a lot of Home Free's strengths although they also handle ANY other genre just as amazingly! Some of my favorites are "Working for a Living", "Land of the Free", "Elvira" (with the Oak Ridge Boys), "Undivided", and "Ain't Goin' Down 'Til the Sun Comes Up" (which is not on YT--it's on their official Facebook page).
I just subscribed for more HOME FREE Welcome to HOME FREE !! HOME FREE is a county A Capella band (NO INSTRUMENTS) that does more than just country. Tim Foust, the bass (5 octave range) , Adam Rupp, the beatboxer (freak of nature), Adam Chance (Chance) is the baritone/bass, since 2016, he took over for Chris Rupp (one of the founders of the group), Rob Lundquist, tenor and Austin Browmn high tenor make up the voices of angels. Home Free is an acapella group meaning, they use no instruments. Every sound you hear is coming from their mouth or body. They incline toward country music but can sing any genre. Check out When a Man Loves a Woman. Their Christmas songs are outstanding. I’m glad you noticed the background, they always have a backdrop that suits the song. I heard this was filmed in Alabama. Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget is a fun number.
If you want more home free my favourite is everybody walk-in this land. My children love the sea shanty medley by them. If you are looking to be awed by a base sing check out Geoff castolluchi… I probably didn’t spell his last name right but he is amazing
Young man, you made this old ladies day!!! I needed a laugh, and your comment and gestures about the guy having no friends to help him now, actually made me laugh out loud, & my dog looked at me, like I had lost my mind LOL 🤣😆🤣 **THANK YOU** 💗
Actually a very sad song (from about 1910 to 1920) of a slave bidding farewell to all he knows. Farewell to his home, his lover, his friends, everything, as he prepares to “ride that northern railroad “. Originally called the goodbye song, even the original was kind of an up beat, showing excitement of reaching freedom with the sorrow of goodbye.
That is the One "BEST UNIQUE" trait of this whole group.....THEY ARE 100 Percent NO REAL INSTRUMENTS AT ALL! they are the Complete singing group that were first touted as the totally accapella singing group that is considered MOSTLY COUNTRY! But they actually cover MANY popular songs in different genres! all the Instrument sounds you hear? The band members perform those sounds themselves!!
Hi there, you've just taken the tumble down the Home Free rabbit hole... you're gonna love it! I just subbed because your reaction was so much fun. Stick with Home Free and their collaborators for some fantastic music -- all vocally produced. I've seen all their videos now and absolutely love their live performances. Their videos are not overly produced and easily lend themselves to live performances. I recommend you check out their cover of Boyz2Men End of the Road. I also recommend the official video for Mayday, but be sure you watch several of their videos to become familiar with the guys and their roles in the group. Prepare yourself for a journey well worth the time. Everything these guys do just keeps getting better. You must also check Blue Ain't Your Color, Helplessly Hoping, In The Blood... I could go on forever, but I'll catch you on the next HF reaction!
This us a old country/bluegrass song. It was brought back again by Ralph Stanley in the HILARIOUS movie "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou". Give the movie a review too.
This is one of my two favorite acapella groups. The other one you will need to check out is VoicePlay #TheatreKidsOfACappella. They just did a cover of Aerosmith's Dream ON. Or if you're a gamer they have done covers of The Dragonborn Comes/Skyrim and HALO.
Home free is amazing! Listen to the "butts remix" "ring of fire" and "Folsom prison". VoicePlay is another crazy amazing acapella group...listen to "my mother told me", "Halo theme" and "oogie boogie" songs.
Oh shot brother!!!! You are soooooo going down the rabbit hole! Love Pentatonix and voiceplay, but Home Free can do.anything. Check out " Go ready high on the mountain " beautiful!!! You will love it. Promise!
I really enjoyed your reactions to this video... "They don't gotta rub it in !..'He's got no friends to help him now' "..😄😄😄... It was a treat fnding your channel...best of luck with it... Check out Avi Kaplan...he was the original bass member of Pentatonix..now a solo artist...a favorite song "Change on the Rise" ...🌿🌿🌿

I can't even see the video just shadows. Will stay to see your reations since I have seen the video at least 50 times. You have opened the door to the Home free rabbit hole. They are the most fantastic a cappella group and the beatboxer Adam Rupp is doing his as he calls it nomonica. He an do so many instruments and sounds His drums are so real sounding. You have to wath and listen to Adam Rupps Drum Solo 2015. It is part of a concert live.
Just like the group Protonix they're cappella. There aren't any instruments; instead it's one of the members making sounds which sound like instruments.
Good reaction. Now you need to check out Voiceplay, for the trifecta of accapella groups. You should check out their cover of Enemy, with Alexa, their latest, or go back in time and see Oogie Boogie's Song, from Nightmare before Christmas.
And...another one falls down the rabbit hole. You are so fucking doomed. We'll save you a chair. You're about to be buried in Home Fries. First, you're going to want to show their videos in full. The men like reactors, and the more recent videos on their own label won't be a copyright problem. Besides, their videos are awesome and you're going to want to share the visuals with your subscribers or they'll miss out, especially on the humor. Home Free is the only country a capella group out there, but they can - and do - sing every genre. And they have no lead singer. Every one of these men can take the lead, and they pick the lead for each song by who does it the most justice. During quarantine, they kept all us Home Fries sane by dropping new videos every couple of weeks. God bless ‘em. All the men can beat box, but Adam is in a league of his own. He's a two-time world champion and there're good reasons he's called a "Freak of Nature" and “the man who swallowed a drum kit.” For more of Adam's incredible beat boxing, check out Sea Shanty medley (the man makes castanets, for Pete's sake), his no-monica solo on Working For A Living and Ain't Going Down Til The Sun Comes Up, and his drum solos. For more of Tim's seismic basso profundo, listen to Brothers In Arms, Misty Mountains (his collaboration with Peter Hollens), Folsom Prison Blues, or Ring Of Fire (the Sing Off version). For Chance's smooth baritone, check out Down to the Honky Tonk, Brothers In Arms, and Folsom Prison Blues. (Awesome. A basso profundo and a baritone/bass in the same group.) FYI, Chance is singing (throat singing) the jaw harp sounds - without the jaw harp - in Man Of Constant Sorrow. For Rob's smooth soul, check out End of the Road, Blue Ain't Your Color, or Bless The Broken Road. (Blue-eyed soul is in good hands with The Beard.) For Austin's soaring tenor, check out Moonshine, When A Man Loves a Woman, or Bring Him Home. (But bolt down your chair ‘cause he'll sing you right out of it.) For their humor, check out Butts Remix, Working For A Living, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Make You Feel My Love, and Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget. For their amazing arrangement skills, check out Do You Hear What I Hear. (Adam's arrangement. Nothing else like it.) For their tight harmonies, check out Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, Brothers In Arms, or Auld Lang Syne. For their mashups, check out Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On, Fishing in the Dark/Boondocks, Country Fried Pop, or Woman, Amen/Female. For more of their wonderful collaborations, check out God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood, American Pie with Don McLean, Elvira with The Oak Ridge Boys, or Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For with Peter Hollens. Get at least five videos under your belt and then listen to Mayday - the official video. After Mayday, you'll be ready for Tim and Austin doing My Maria or Tim's mashup of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay. Their synergy is phenomenal. Each is an artist in his own right, but man - when they sing together, magic happens. Wicked talent polished by decades of hard work. (Unchained Melody, Castle On The Hill, Seven Bridges Road) To paraphrase another Home Fry, “They don't just own a cover, they upgrade it.” You are doomed, Home Fry. Bring ketchup.
If you would increase the saturation of the visual part of the video it would help the viewer see what you are seeing as well as hearing. Also I would recommend a reaction to Cotton Feilds by Brian Thomas.

The sheeeeer depth of the Bass in the man's voice is just memorizing to listen to.
This group can do anything. They are so amazing. They have hundreds of videos.
Love this group!!!!
You appreciate the beatboxer doing all the sounds and music you should check out there version of Ain't Going Down Till the Sun Comes Up
This us a old country/bluegrass song. It was brought back again by Ralph Stanley in the HILARIOUS movie "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou". Give the movie a review too.
Keep following and discovering.
Home Free is A Cappella they use no instruments
Another wonderful A cappella group! In the beginning I think that a Didgeridoo sound he makes! An Australian aborigine instrument!
Their cover of When a Man Loves a Woman is beautiful
Thank you ^_^
Home free is amazing!
Promise!

First video by you.You should watch Adam Rupp(beatbox, harmonica)do a drum solo.It will blow your mind
You might like to watch Adam Rupp's drum solo preferably the latest one as he's gotten even better over the years.
Just saw your PTX and this popped up. Now you know two of the best groups. R&B? Check out they're cover of 'End of the Road'.
You are hilarious! Subbed!
Thanks!❤️😃
You just found the best group out there
They are amazing 😊
Just like the group Protonix they're cappella. There aren't any instruments; instead it's one of the members making sounds which sound like instruments.
I assume you mean Pentatonix?
You should check out Voiceplay. Another great acapella group!
Subbed for more Home Free and Pentatonix!
Love these guys! You should react to Voiceplay doing Oogie Boogie from Nightmare before Christmas
Just subbed! Hope you'll check out more Home Free! Their cover of End of the Road is amazing!
I’ll add more to my list!😃
Good reaction. Now you need to check out Voiceplay, for the trifecta of accapella groups. You should check out their cover of Enemy, with Alexa, their latest, or go back in time and see Oogie Boogie's Song, from Nightmare before Christmas.
These Guys don't have musical instruments. They're using their voices to make the sounds.
No Chance was doing the mouth harp sound
You need to react to their cover of Ring of Fire featuring Avi Kaplan! Also Avi Kaplan's Change on the Rise!
These guys are amazing! Check out their cover of End of the Road by Boyz II Men!
Liked and subscribed 😁
Thank you so much!❤️
Recommend their cover of Amazed.
(Blue-eyed soul is in good hands with The Beard.)
For Austin's soaring tenor, check out Moonshine, When A Man Loves a Woman, or Bring Him Home. (But bolt down your chair ‘cause he'll sing you right out of it.)
For their humor, check out Butts Remix, Working For A Living, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Make You Feel My Love, and Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget.
For their amazing arrangement skills, check out Do You Hear What I Hear. (Adam's arrangement. Nothing else like it.)
For their tight harmonies, check out Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, Brothers In Arms, or Auld Lang Syne.
(Unchained Melody, Castle On The Hill, Seven Bridges Road) To paraphrase another Home Fry, “They don't just own a cover, they upgrade it.”
You are doomed, Home Fry. Bring ketchup.
If you would increase the saturation of the visual part of the video it would help the viewer see what you are seeing as well as hearing. Also I would recommend a reaction to Cotton Feilds by Brian Thomas.
If you liked this song check out their cover of fulsom prison blues
End of the Road, a Boyz to Men cover .
Good one !! 👍
❤❤❤❤❤
Please listen to Austin Brown's "when a man loves a woman". By the way, I'm a "HOME FRY".
Welcome to classic Blue Grass.
The last person they show, that's who you're looking for, there are two Adams in the group he's the very last one who looks like Leonardo DiCaprio, watch his lips he's the one making The voice harp sound, some people call it the Australian didgeridoo sound.
Home Free Ring of fire, bass battle, ruclips.net/video/0l3dsHCScxU/видео.html
Tim foust closing out song with A1, or G1 note, this time with vocal growl.

Home Free's co-founder and beatboxer, Adam Rupp, his brother is Christopher Rupp, he's the principal song arranger and appears with the band every now and then, he is now exploring other opportunities, but his career has opened up for him, being the big brother and co-owner of the groups name.
ruclips.net/video/EanKWLUaDpg/видео.html
Home Free, Mayday, Tim Foust once again sings tenor in falsetto. ruclips.net/video/-QJ1QMvs-cU/видео.html, here's two for the price of one, Home Free fans are called home fries, of which I am a proud member. Very clean no profanity it's fun group. Everyone's married, except for Adam Chance, and Austin Brown. Austin has a significant other there was one girl and another in the belly but she's here now, and he still hasn't married her, but they live together. Go figure none of the band members drink except for chance, Adam Chance the baritone, but they do all like sweet tea. There's a second Adam, Adam Rupp, the beatboxer, who was fed symbols and drum sets as a child. This group has overly overly overly talented people in it, and God doesn't mind showing you. ruclips.net/video/RVC6hn9iNIQ/видео.html

Home Free ❤️🙌🙌. These guys are awesome. My request: Butts Medley 😛
A acappea group, NO instruments, everything with mouth, beat boxing.
Same as Pentatonic group.
There's a clip with Adam playing drums, all mouth.
Unbelievable
Enjoying your Channel 🤗
I have never seen a home free video blocked, so no need to use filter to obscure video
