I have a 2018 Shelby GT359R I've watched your video quite a few times and also spoke with Whipple and got the installation instructions which I read through a lot. I'm probably considered a RUclips mechanic, learning all things from RUclips. How difficult was this for you? How long in total did it take? What are some of the watch out that I can't see from your video or the instructions?
It’s not difficult, can be done in 1 day. I took 2 days on mine, did the oil pump gear ⚙️ upgrade as well. Take your time 👍 best car ever, I miss mine, will get another
I have a 2019 GT350R that had that same kit put on it. This thing boogies. Got about a thousand miles on it and noticed the belt was starting to get cut on the tensioner pulley. It is out of alignment by almost 8th of an inch. Have you seen this or had this problem and what did you do to fix it? Any help is very much appreciated

Do you notice any handling difference without the strut bar? I like to occasionally track mine and worry about handling.
Handles the same, but I’m no professional driver lol

The OPG and whipple kit took me about 24 hours total time. The whipple kit intall is quick and easy, the OPG took the longest because it was my first time and I was taking my time wanted to make sure I time it right.
How many gallons did it took to fill the Whipple with coolant?

What size air filter did you use? I bought my 16 gt350 with whipple supercharger installed. I am at 51k and the JLT air filter is 8 &1/4 in height and very difficult to near impossible to put back in. I was getting a shorter filter around 5 inches in height to fit in the air filter housing. Just curious because your air filter housing looks like you used a shorter filter.
Not sure what size the filter is but, it did come with the whipple kit. It was a tight install as well

@@L8R-HP I have no idea since it came with the vehicle when I purchased it a few months ago. It was recently installed 2.9 liter by previous owner. Also, meant to say that I do not want to disassemble any part of the supercharger just to replace an air filter. It is very time consuming from what I read.
@@carolinanfc37 o ok I got you, Whipple may have changed the filter box design with the 3.0 gen 5 supercharger.

The whipple kit is $9200. Oil pump gears were $300. We do installs as well.
