Thanks so much for the explanation, I've looked everywhere for this. Just one question. How come that you have your 112 cable coming just to the end of the dash connector but you still had to make a jumper wire to the third connector? (pink wire) shouldn't it be plug and play with no extra modifications if the tach is an original one? Thanks in advance.
I see, I'll check with mine, it's also a GL model. One more, you didn't have the blue connector unused at the back at all, right? Just to know if mine will be the same.
Just to confirm 112 wire we as connected to my brown plug only on the engine Side of the plug. Nothing on the dash side no pin in the connector. I had to remove the 112 cable from the plug and join in & run the wire across the dash to the clocks.
Hey, nice work. I´ve have the Junior version, with no clock even, just a "Peugeot" badge. I'd like to update it to a tachometer. Have you purchase an intrument clutch with the tachometer and just replace it into your own speedometer+fuel gauge set, or replace all the set, I would not like to deal with another odometer? Is it easy to change and do the back white part of the intrument clutch allow the simple addition of the original tachometer? thx man
Is it easy to get the mileage on the replacement clocks to show the same as the cars mileage? I've got a 1.4 205 with no rev counter and fancy replacing with xs clocks
Nope but if you take the clock apart and manually turn the dials, THEY WILL STOP RECORDING MILAGE, done it and it DOES NOT work, only way is with a drill in reverse or forward
Thank you broo soo much you helped me a lot

Some later models had it, most didn't.
My gauge, someone had cut wires and all sorts.

Nice work, trying to source a tachometer seams nearly impossible. Any info on that front?
Only available on a UK and Euro spec Rallye.

true. some base models didn't run to the gauge cluster

the tach, clock, speedo, fuel gauge are all separate components and can be taken out and swapped into each other to suit
Well n ! All I have to do now is find a tachometer for my 1991 1.6 automatic.
extremely useful

did u rewire or just plug and play??
plug and play on one car, but had to wire the second car from the fusebox as the 112 wire wasnt terminated in the instrument connector.
