Great video as always. You guys have a great trout fishery there. Is the flounder running good there also? I see a lot of flounder videos from the Corpus Christi area.
James Manton port o Conner has an excellent flounder season. Best month is November, but no gigging
Is top water better with spinning reel or baitcast reels
How do you know where to cast for topwater trout? What do you look for when casting?
I just look for schools of fingermullet on the move. Then I try to cast around the schools and hope to fool one of the trout into thinking my lure is an injured bait actively being attacked by some other fish.
Can you catch Redfish with that lure or just Trout?

If you want to fish barroom bay or the other bays south of there, The Fishing Center would be the best. They charge $5.
You can launch for free at the little jetties or boggy bayou.
