Is it normal for the clutch lever to feel loose going in and out? Not side to side where the bolt lines up but from the engine outward… if that makes sense. There’s just a little give their that I don’t remember if I had prior to readjusting this.
I adjusted the gear pedal and it was hard to land it on first gear when I stop so I put it back on the original position but I can only wear slim boots when ridding, any sujestions?
There was also a black rubber spacer that seemed to not be on the bike in this video 🤔 unless I just didn’t see it. So the spacer makes it a little tough to get it close enough to the bike without it having that bit of give. I hope this makes sense. 🙏🏼
So glad I found this. Had no idea this was adjustable. I literally had to take my foot off the peg to shift up gears. Smashed the like button!!
Thanks! I subscribed to see what else you have.
What did you torque this bike to for the shift lever?
Great video! Very helpful. Would adjusting the shifter, make better clearance for floorboards?
I'd like to know also, I'm on a low rider S and bought crossthread mini floor boards, having a really hard time getting my foot under the shifter.

How you adjust in older sporster 86 is really uncomfortable to my feet to close no enough clearance thank you
Thanks
