“You’re on your own journey”! Truth! Miss seeing you. Thanks for this video. Hope you have a great holiday season! Congrats on being halfway through your program.
I just finished my first semester at my in-state school & I'm so glad I took your advice and got an iPad/pencil/notability! It worked out great! Congrats on being 1/2 way there!
Great video Britt I love the fact that you are always willing to help out and share everything you have learned about vet school with prospective students. Great tips you pointed out in this video, I am sure they would find these very useful. Happy Holidays!
Love these tips! I’m about to start vet school next week (eek!) and I am so excited but also nervous. Everything you mentioned in this video helped put my mind at ease
I would be so interested in buying your notes from you! From what I can see on your Instagram, they are so much brighter and much more organised than mine so let me know if this is something you'd be interested in :)
hi, Brittney, I am a freshman in high school right now and have been wanting to be a veterinarian for a long time. I was wondering other than working or helping out at a vet clinic what would you recommend to do that will give some experience to people who are 15 or 16. What did you do?
Hi. You could work/help out at a shelter, clinic, humane society, farm, or with a large animal vet (if in your area). Unfortunately due to labor laws, many clinics may not let you work until you're 16 and it may be minimal kennel work, but anything helps and you can work your way up. I started volunteering and then working at a vet when I was 16. It was a family friend so he let me do ALOT, but it's hit or miss just depending on how much the vet will let you do unexperienced.
I was just recently accepted to SGU vet program for fall 2021 !!! And your videos are so helpful. Hopefully classes are in person by that time!!
I hope so too! Congrats on your acceptance!

Great video and tips! Prior to vet school did you get your certification in vet assistant or became a vet tech?
Nope. I went straight to vet school after undergrad. I work as a vet tech/assistant now, just not certified.

I live in California so things may be a bit different here than there.
