Actually a hard code or to be more precise a permanent fault code can be reset three different ways, 1. go to a dealer and have them use their dealer scan tool. 2. have your own expensive scan tool that can reset permanent fault codes. 3. you can erase the permanent fault code from the ECU by disconnecting the battery cables and connecting a 1 Ohm 10 watt diode to the positive and negative cables using a set of alligator clips leaving the 1 Ohm 10 watt diode connected for 10 to 15 minutes, this will drain the remaining power from the ECU and will erase the permanent fault code.
I just had a Westcott Designs lift installed with 285/70/17 BF Goodrich KO3 tires on my 2020 Tacoma TRD PRO. No issues, No light came on. Completely satisfied, I would recommend this product to anyone.
The camera needing recalibration I can understand because you have changed the height, just changing a windshield requires the camera to be recalibrated to work properly. The grille radar sensor however is nothing more than a radar, it sends out a single and the single bounces back, the radar sensor has a switch in the cab to adjust the distance sensitivity of the radar sensor, however I don't buy this needing to recalibrate the radar sensor. Radar is a very simple concept even if you look at cosign error it would not affect these simple radar sensors because they only detect an object directly in front of you. Cosign error deals with the angle but it is at the outer edge of the radars single and again these radar sensors are only monitoring the object directly in from of you not objects to the right or left of you.
I've had westcott designs lift kit installed in my 2020 tundra trd pro a couple weeks ago. No problems at all. It's amazing that Jeff has to tell the toyota dealer how their truck works. Now just saving money for new wheels and tires.

Did you keep the factory coil spring or upgrade?

What clips did you guys put this on the front
Do you know what wheels these are?
KMC wrath same as me
What kind of wheels are on that Tacoma?
What wheel and offset?
by any chance do you know the offset in that wheel?
The Toyota service department didn’t know the vehicle needed calibration after the windshield replacement? This is common knowledge.
You would think! I have seen it a couple of times now🤦♂️
What rim is this customer running?
KMC wrath
Sad that someone has to explain to a dealership how to fix issues with their own vehicles??
