This worked perfectly for my 2020 450fx. Love the fit of the bracket. Only downside is you can’t use the oem bar pad anymore. Thanks for the video!

So just wrapping that wire around the spark plug wire will make it work? Could you explain how it does and if it'll work on other machines like ATV's or ATC's maybe?
When you wrap the wire around the spark plug it senses vibration and knows when the bike is on, very very important to have so you know when to do maintenance. And I would imagine hour meters work and are effective on quads just like they are on motorcycles.
Have you guys installed any kind of lights on a 2014 yz250f and if so were they ran off the stator
hi, when you say it is important to have a hour meter on a four stroke, does that mean its not important on a two stroke?
Hi Megan, that's a good question. It's important for both 2 and 4 stroke bikes to have an hour meter but, it's even more so on the 4 stroke because there is a lot more maintenance that goes into 4 stroke.

When installing my Hr meter I wrapped the wire around the coil (top of the spark plug cap) and the spark plug wire. Will this give me proper hr readings? It seems like the hrs are adding up quickly.
Jordan Seigel I did mine like they did and I too swear it was adding up fast, I also thought maybe it was Drd ...?
Will this work on my 2000 YZ250 2 stroke?
Hello, yes, you don't have to necessarily use this unit, we have a lot of other hour meter options that can work eith off engine vibration or pulses from the spark plug wire. Check them out here: www.chapmoto.com/dash

Little did he know that the ecu already counts the hours and all u need is the power tuner to check the hours
