So can you encap carpets with this machine where you're not rinsing with an extractor / wand?
I presently do low moisture with my 10" CRB and the Releasit Encap chems.
Nov 23, 2022 - Update: Yes, we can encap carpets with the Powr-Flite Multiwash. I've had this machine for about 3 months and cleaned 5 carpets with it. But in my experience, alot of what matters is using a high quality encapsulation chemical, scrubbing it in without the recovery tray and then letting the solution dwell 10-15 minutes. Then using the multiwash with just water and the tray attached. Carpets come out beautiful with no wicking or quick re-soiling.
I offer my customers a 30 day warranty to protect against dirt / stains coming back and even new spills. Haven't had anyone call me to redo their carpet yet. YES, other carpet cleaners I talk with think I'm nuts for offering that warranty, but to me it's just called excellent customer service and truly wanting to do the job right the first time.

Nice work! Good process. I’d like to get a multi wash someday. Right now we have a few 10” crbs.
Just a small suggestion that might save you some aggravation is to pre spray your way into a room or in this case the house. You’ll fight with your hose a lot less. Saves your hose from getting completely blasted by your cleaning solution. And will save you from getting lines in the carpet where your hose was.

But I got your point its not about which one can complete the tasks but all about which one you can afford, CRB is a very good machine to have in your van set but it does cost 2,500 quids or 1,500 quids refurbished as a multi washer you can pay 450 quids and invest in something else the rest, it is a really good start but also a heavy weight equipment, it does has pros and cons but it still affordable, I would do the same choice and I will to a start business company, but I also believe we should have both as a carpet cleaner equipment, no doubt about starting with a multi washer instead of CRB my friend and thank you for the advice. God bless from UK.

Now I am really confused, I am saving up to buy the cheap model CRB as I thought they were better than a rotary scrubber, but you recommend a rotary scrubber to start out ? and now there is the power washer. the Sebo CRB is just over the thousand dollars here in NZ and that's entry level. Reasoning for thinking a sebo is it can get into corners where a rotary scrubber is round so it will not do corners, or that is the main reason the other I like is it brushes the fiber so that the pretreat can get down where I thought the rotary only spun it in one direction ?

I would use a regular canister vacuum as step 1, Pre-spray, then use one of those cheap hoover type carpet cleaners to agitate, then rinse and extract, spot treat as needed. what would your opinion be on that for someone on a tight budget? i would assume it would be much better than just using a Rake
