@@Welsh_Aussie Boiling water 212F is too hot. Usually water temp from hot water fixture is fine. Most prespray recommend hot water, especially if it is a powder

I always prespray, and I use the hottest water that is on job site

Which color brush did you use, or which color gives better results between the black or blue?
The standard black brushes work out well in all areas

yes prespray with encap of my choice, and just a little in the tank to hit some heavy spots as I pass through
