RiflemanFirst yeah I got it over a month ago . Was my
First rifle . A bit shocked at how much the blast is when you fire it but you get used to it. Definitely people question you at the range and are shocked you have a galil. Don’t ever put steel rounds in it always use brass. Someone gave me free steel rounds at the range and when I was firing the magazine was shaking the components inside aka bullets felt like rattling. Very accurate gun just with iron sights

Parts made by Indumil in Colombia. IWI assembles them else where and sells them to us. Great rifle improved by the Colombian engineers.

Great video. I'm picking up a 556 Galil Ace carbine this Sunday. Very excited.
Great gun !! Just changed out folding stock mechanism with dissident arms Galil stock adaptor so could put on light weight M4 stock and reduced weight of gun by 1 pound. All my AK's get a weight reduction diet. Keep up the good vids!!
Sweet! I have the 7.62x39 version and I'm very happy with it. On another note, your sense of disappointment when your girl missed that first shot is so obvious, it's a trip (7:15). But you must be doing a good job teaching her cuz she's SO MUCH better then she was in some of the older videos. Your IG is the shit, but I'm glad to see you showing RUclips some love...
PS: Regarding your NFA comment, if you're SBRing you gotta go with efile. I've had 3 come back in less than a month.
The variant that makes the most sense for the US market... was the last to come in and is the hardest to get. I think the marketing guy at IWI needs a talking to lol.

Interesting on your example the bolt carrier scalped lightning cut is different than most pics of the 556

@klayco47 Fuck it, I'm going full Race ACE from Dissident for the 556 version. I already tricked out a 7.62x39 Galil with the RS regulate handguard, ALG trigger, dissident stock, and KNS adjustable gas piston; but I know Dissident will take it a few steps further.
I would add a rail from RS REGULATE!
I may or may not have already done that 😉

How's it run suppressed? Does it gas you in the face like a standard AK? Still want one of these in .308 so bad. This thing seems like a super flat shooter in 5.56, though. Just added it to my want list. Good to see more RUclips videos coming from you guys.

I own Galil Ace rifles in 556 and x39, great rifles but horrible bulky handguards and polymer rails? I will be adding aftermarket handguards.

...........whines in poor. It's the price point of a comparable quality AR, but with AK ruggedness, plus it's cheaper than the high end AK's out there from M-13, rifle dynamics and tactical edge except here you're getting a super rigid milled receiver.
Ugly gun and expensive..I'll stick with my AR15
