Hi James thanks alot for such an amazing video. Can l mix vitamin c l ascorbic powder with my daily moisturizer and apply daily morning and night??? Plz reply
Reverastrol/ ferulic and this powder didn’t work. Somebody said water based serum is better. Now I’m testing marine serum and c powder. So far so good.
i've been using this product for a couple of months. I've been mixing half a scoop in the palm of my hand with a dollop of my morning gel based moisturizer. Is this oxidizing the vitamin C because the moisturizer im mixing it with is water based? Or is this only the case when mixing large amounts of it into a bottle for future use? Thanks!
Hello and thank you so much for this video. I have just got this product a week ago and i am having a hard time using this . I have been using a full scoop and mixing it with my face cream which i have always used as it's the only one i have found that keeps my skin really hydrated. But since i have been mixing this vitamin c with it i have notice that my pores on my nose and round the side have become large a lot more than normal. Is this because i am using to much in one go of the vitamin c . My face cream is safe to use with this and i have been mixing it with a bit of lipade q10 oil serum booster from face theory before adding to the the cream to make sure it is completely dissolved. please could you advise me as i am at a complete loss and i got recommended your channel for help
Hi Pauline, I'm not sure why your pores are looking larger. Could it be that the vitamin has unclogged them? In that case they may reduce in size with time. The more powder you use means more moisturiser/serum you need to mix it with. Be careful now to apply too much product as this might unbalance your skin. Hope this helps : )
Hey James, thank you for your videos! In your previous review of the powder you said something about the l ascorbic acid needing a certain ph level to actually or properly be absorbed by the skin. After some research I found out that the ph-level was 4 - can I create that ph level when I mix it with the recommended resveratrol serum?
The guidance you provided with this Ordinary 100% L-Ascorbic acid, even with a very tiny amount burnt my skin. I have been trying to remove the hyperpigmentation, but not successful. Can you please provide any suggestion to counter this horrible effect / reaction?
I'm not sure. I guess it would work but I would stick with a moisturiser or face oil to ensure the finish is comfortable sit's well with other products.
No, it’s better to use vitamin c in the morning and vitamin a at night. Altough some research have shown they don’t have much of a problem together, I stil wouldn’t risk it!! In the video he talks about it!!!

Hi Maria, don't worry as it will work with any type of hyaluronic acid just avoid peptides and niacinamide. My personal preference right now is not to mix the powder with a water based serum if it's sitting on my skin all day because it will oxidise faster. The moisture in our skin will activate the l ascorbic acid so I prefer a water free formula or something without a high water content. That's just me being very strict so feel free to keep doing what you're doing if it works for you : ))
