This video perfectly shows how me and my brother are at a bike park. We start with the first jump and then we both push each other like how Eric pushes yuka and how yuka pushes Eric.

As a 19 yo who's mostly stuck to XC trails all my life, and broke my collarbone the first time I hit a real jump, your skills are really impressive to me lol. I completely understand where the anxiety comes from, but you working through it is really pretty inspirational my guy. Keep at it, love this stuff.

I always operate on the principle that if I cannot imagine myself doing it I do not even take a run up. If you cannot see it in your mind why even bother creating the mental block? You clearly have the skills to complete these difficult features but like you mention, the mental side is tough. My advice is do not create scenarios where you mentally block yourself. No matter who you are 10 run ups do not help lol.
Right? Eventually this "LOL sketchy" and "just send it" is gonna end badly.

You finally came to the Bike Ranch!!! I ride there everyday! I started in 2019 and this spring I finally hit all the road jumps and the fist full drop and step up on my 140mm 2009 trail bike!
Its always so cool to watch people ride my local and learn all the features one by one like I did as a kid, it brings me back to the days where that drop was the scariest thing I had ever done, and trails like wrangler was nothing more than a few mounds of dirt!
If only I hadn't broken myself off in August on Pale Rider I would've been there to ride most likely! Oh well, it's hard to stay away from the bike ranch for too long ;)

I really really like your videos as a whole, but I have to say you do a particularly good job with the music. It's never generic and pretty much always adds to the story, I thoroughly enjoy it. In this vid the part with the piano during the progression on the single track was amazing !

You guys have improved crazy much in jumping! Awesome stuff! There was a difference in you vs. most people shown on the video that did the drop. Others do a pre-hop to soak them down earlier. That probably makes the landing less harsh for them.

Did a double take at the Pineview trail head when I was airing up my tires, Said hi to you Eric when you were walking into the outhouse. was halfway up my climb when I realized when who you were, hope you guys enjoyed Kamloops!
