The person in the Allied Carpets advert also appeared in the advert for Appletise (Now Appletiser).
I think he was in Minder as well, he bought a car from Arthur and grass started growing out of it.If it wasn't him it was his doppelganger.
His name is Nigel Lambert.the bloke here: 1:40 is none other than Jazz Man turned actor Zoot Money, who also appeared in an episode of Minder.
