I thought the fights and lightsaber movements in the clone wars were a great improvement but now the new game will beat it. I especially love that they made it so you won’t just be spamming the same button to fight.
More complex gameplay mechanics have always been the thing I wanted the most out of a lego game. So excited for this !
I guess I haven’t been paying attention because I’m bashing Y and B to dodge.
im just bashing x still lol
@@franknbeans7745 noob
Same here. I admit to spamming X when I’m using a character that uses a blaster. Hey at least it’s better than that old system that the execs tried to get the developers to add that was thankfully dropped when they realized that the testers were only using one button to fight with. *Sigh* the development of the skywalker saga was a mess and I really feel sorry for the developers that had to endure terrible working conditions just to get this game out. Now if only we could have a decent Star Trek game for once as the last one was Star Trek Online although bridge crew does count as that was the last one to be released that isn’t a P2W mobile game and Resurgence is looking alright although it doesn’t look like the game is going to be able to maintain a stable frame rate. Thankfully despite the multiple issues that occurred during development the skywalker saga isn’t a broken mess the mess that Star Trek Resurgence is likely going to be when it releases.
it would be cool one day to see a updated clone wars lego game
With seasons 3-7
it would have been funny for april fools tt said the skywalker saga canceled well not funny
@@grant1467 Another youtuber did an aprils fool thing were they showed off al the force awakens charecters but they said it was for the skywalker saga
It definitely looks way better than the force awakens graphics tbh, loved the clone wars game I might play it tonight now
Indeed
OH MY GOSH THE JANGO FETT ADVENT CALENDAR GAME! Man, I am so happy to see that showcased! That brings so much nostalgia when me and my bro could get on the computers at target, my mom's workplace, and just play web games together. We played miniclip, coolmathgames, all the OGs, and yet that advent calendar game was the most addicitive one.
Thank you for the nostalgia!
Advent calander was truly something to behold. I loved it
It’s crazy to see the improvement of quality when I played TCS when I was a lil kid, can’t wait to play the skywalker saga
Just 3 Days left my friend
@@ComiccollectorGamer Ye boi
@@ComiccollectorGamer don't make me more excited lmao can't wait
@@ComiccollectorGamer THREE MORE DAYS!!!!!
@@TehNiCoLaS for me it’s 2 days,
the video just unlocked my memories of playing Lego Star Wars: The Quest For R2-D2 on my old family pc. I used to play that game so much as a kid but i completely forgot about it until now lol.
I miss that game. Although there is a way to play it in this day and age, there’s no way to save it.
same here lol
I miss my childhood of friends taking turns playing it, oh the memories
I remember playing half of these games and especially the Yoda Chronicles but I thought nobody knew about them, it’s great seeing people love them!
Honestly the standout of "The complete Saga" was that they had no dialogue. That limitation allowed them to create some of the best Lego humour. I felt like once Voice Actors got involved a lot of that creative humour disappeared because they had no reason to find a creative way to portray dialogue. The standout being Vader holding up a family picture to Luke and just pointing at it.
Bro.... As soon as he said the words "BRING BACK TINY DEATH STAR" everything just came back to me. The fun I had just moving an elevator up and down, upgrading my restaurants, and the sadness I felt when it was removed from the app store.
Thanks for the nostalgia, Bomb!
I LOVED that game! I miss it so much... so addictive and fun.
There is a game called tiny tower which is tiny death star without star wars
Me too, truly one of my favourite mobile games. I wish i had played it more
and star wars assault team xD
I haven't thought about those old browser games in years! There was one that you didn't cover, which I remember playing so much back in the day. It was a 2d sidescroller tie-in to Lego Star Wars 3, where you just platformed around with other people and did puzzles to unlock different characters. Good times!
I wish I could remember that one’s name, I also made a comment about it though my details may have been mistaken due to memory blur lol
I had unbelievably fun times with that game, just screwing around with others for hours
HOLY SHIT YES, I remember it, that game was so much fun.
Yes! I noticed andrew missed that one. I used the play that alot back then.
Omg I miss that one. The records of it can barely be found anymore. It's called simply Lego starwars 3 the clone wars webgame. It was so fun
11:45 I still have the minifigure somewhere in my room. Brought back some good memories!
Great vid btw!
I bought Lego: The Force Awakens, but never finished it. Something about it was not like the old The Complete Saga. But This newest The Skywalker Saga is giving me that old feeling I got from The Complete Saga.
I've played only Complete Saga and LSW III, now I'm on the last stretch to Skywalker Saga.
Gotta say, LSW III was great, especially the large-scale battles were very addicting, but Complete Saga still has a place in my heart. I hope that Skywalker Saga will also find one.
@Grand Master Yoda Yeah! Definitely! I *almost* 100%'d the game in like 2 weeks. I'm saying "almost" because there are bugs that prevent me from fully completing two levels, so I'm stuck at like 99.87%.
But other than that, it's a blast!
@@witchamy how many hours do you have on it???
@@reaganerickson8288 137h
@@witchamy You almost 100% the ENTIRE GAME in two weeks? Like, unlocking all the ships, characters enz. Finding all the kyber bricks. Unlocking all the extras???? How.

God, I remember when my parents bought me my first console, a PS2 with Star Wars 2: the Original Trilogy. It was my first video game and was what pretty much started my downward spiral (depending on how you look at it 😆) of gaming. It really does hold a special place in my heart (as well as that tune from the cantina hub).
Exactly the same for me. Nice to hear someone else having gone through what I have
I had that game. It was my favourite
I had it on my DS
Same! I had it on my PS2 as well, those were great days
You know your talking about a game, right?
i remember jamming the complete sage, waking up early in the morning and playing hundreds of hours. Simpler times great times thank you Lego
Keep up the good work. This video is dope. Really love that you show the scope of how far we have come with Lego Games. This new one is definetely tops for sure. GGs
It’s amazing that I’ve played almost all of these, and the difference is incredible. I can’t wait for the Skywalker Saga
The Complete Saga is my favorite, but I will always have a soft spot for Lego Star Wars II, because there was a bug where if you would force push R2-D2 into quicksand or something like it, it would just rapidly overlap the audio of his death sound. In fact, this worked for all characters that could be force pushed.
I rage quit II after getting softlocked by different glitches in the same level three times (about 20 minutes in).
They all are amazing and were my childhood im getting skywalker saga
It was on a Tatooine level, I loved to do that too, so funny hearing R2's death sound like that
This is going to seem absolutley strange but when you showed that the original lego star wars came out in 2005 it was a rush of so many things at one time surrounded around how young I was when I played this. This game was a huge part of my childhood and I'm so happy to come back on such a highnote like the skywalker saga
Oh the memories!! I can just vividly remember playing LSW 2 on my DS as a little one and being so, so excited that i finally unlocked Yoda on Valentines Day!! (:
"The year was 2005 and newly formed TT Games" Whoa whoa! Travelers Tales was making games all the way back on the Sega Genesis. Theyre the ones who made Sonic 3d Blast and Sonic R. One of the lead programmers has a channel on here called Game Hut, where he goes into all the technical stuff about games he used to work on. I beleive he even mentions Lego Star Wars.
TT Games (the holding company for both Traveler's Tales and Giant Interactive) was indeed founded in 2005. Traveler's Tales, on the other hand, was founded way back in 1989.
@@solaris5303 Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment the publisher of lego Star Wars and parent company of TTgames was founded in 2004
You missed a browser multiplayer game that was made to promote Lego Star wars 3. It had unlockable characters and worked entirely as a side scroller
9:53 I played this all THE TIME on my kindle
I had Star Wars III on the Wii. I also had the Yoda Chronicles and the Microfighters game. The nostalgia watching this video.
1:09 - Small correction, but Traveler's Tales (Tt) games had been around for a while by the time Lego Star Wars: The Video Game was released in 2005, the earliest game I know was developed by them was Sonic 3D Blast/ Sonic 3D Flickie's Island for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and Sega Saturn, which was released in 1996 if I recall correctly. They also developed Sonic R, Crash: Wrath of Cortex, and my 2nd favorite Crash Bandicoot game behind Crash 4, that being Crash Twinsanity. This doesn't make this video any less good, I just wanted to point out that Tt Games has made a bunch of other games before the gave us the Lego game Series that they are known for.
The mention of The Quest for R2-D2 brought back a wave of nostalgia from the elementary school computer lab, I loved it so much. I sucked at it, but I loved it nonetheless.
You have brought so many memories back to me, thank you.
I remember thinking lego Star Wars 3 was such a step up in terms of the game itself (still think that in terms of content they should’ve waited until at least after season 3)… looking at what we have now with Skywalker saga that is mind blowing in and of itself
I incredible to see where we are at now with lego games.😃
It’s amazing how far we come with lego games 😄
4:53 just think of him as mace windu
holy you just unlocked some lost memories about the lego advent game and the yoda chronicles, I remember playing those soo long ago.
Thank you for making this
I remember LEGO Star Wars II on the DS, it was like the true definition of 144p. And GLITCHES AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE
Ah, nostalgia. I personally remember having the original Star Wars game on the ps2 as well, and it was a genuine game changer for me.
I love all of these games and funnily enough growing up star wars advent game was my absolute favorite web game. Fantastic video keep it up!
The complete saga was literally my entire childhood and I’m playing it over again
This is exactly what we needed Thanks
5:48 OMG! I remember playing this game on a computer about 10 years ago! :D
I liked the fact that in the first one as Yoda you could hop in the senate chair to hover around.
I also really liked the endor level on the D.S version of Lego Star Wars Ii where you had to jump between the lego logs.
I had the game boy version of Lego Star Wars I to use in the back slot of my D.S I found that game really hard compared to the others
This is so nostalgic, seeing the old Lego Games and Online Lego Games that I've played when I was much younger-
5:11 This is where the fun begins.
Surprised this didn’t include the website game for Lego Star Wars the Clone Wars. Was a side scroller where you get to terminals and unlock new characters and all kinds of stuff. I loved playing it when it first came out. Hopefully others remember what I’m talking about.
I loved playing that too!
That was the only thing on my mind when watching this video! Loved that game when i was little
Omg I used to play the Lego Star wars advent calendar game on my mom's computer when I was five or six. So many memories!
omg the intro actually hyped me up a lot lol you're gonna talk about A LOT of games and i immediatly recognized most shown in the intro
It's interesting how I watched the Freemaker Chronicles a little while back, and I keep wanting that to be in one of these lego games. Just a game where you gotta focus on building ships and fixing them or taking remaining functional bits and slamming them together.
I feel like it shows a lot of how the parts of the Lego company don't communicate a lot.
When I was a kid I played a Lego Star Wars web game where you created your own characters and it mainly had characters from the prequels. You could walk around in a sort of 2D hub with all different planets and you could buy new characters there. One day I couldn't find it anymore and I still haven't found it since but I don't know its name.
I still have the Lego Star Wars the new yoda chronicles game installed from when I was little. It’s so nostalgic!
I loved these games as a kid, it was such a masterpiece and unique concept.
So when you mentioned that Tt games was newly formed in 2005, that's actually not correct. Previously they had gone by the name Traveler's Tale in 1989, and then shortened it to the Tt acronym around the time the first Lego game had released. However they've been making games since their formation and released their first game in 1991.
I guess it’s technically correct cause “the newly formed TT Games” can mean the change from Traveler’s Tale to TT Games
He is entirely correct. While it's true that _Traveler's Tales_ was created in 1989, at no point was he ever talking about that company. He said _TT Games_ , which is an entirely separate company (founded 2005) that owns both Traveler's Tales and their publisher Giant Interactive.
There was no renaming, either - Traveler's Tales still exists today, as does TT Games.
7:01 "Luke and his daddy Vader. How you doing daddy?" "YO DUDES!" Idk why but that honestly made me laugh so much. Apart from that, I really loved this video, it gave me a lot of nostalgia for when I used to play these right after school with my brother.
4:30 I had the complete saga for ds and you gave me a nostalgia atack
This brought back so many memories, I completely forgot I played most of these games ( I now completely regret deleting the New Yoda chronicles, probably one of my biggest mistakes ever)
9:25 Nostalgia
Ah yes I remember when I was a kid and had Star Wars the Complete Saga. I actually still have it and my Nintendo DSi still works. Ima probably play it right now bc of this vid lol
I always had memories of me as a kid playing a lego star wars game but I never knew wicch game it was but now I know it was lego star wars the complete saga! Thank you so much for answering one of my most burning questions!
The quest for R2-D2 is one of my favorites I loved that game
I never got into the Clone Wars show, but still love the LEGO game of it.
12:07 *he he he hah intensifies*
Dude the Lego Star Wars advent calendar just unlocked some memories aaaaaah
This whole vid is nostalgic af I remember playing all of these amazing games TT games is the biggest W of gaming companies they did everything to make us happy
It’s amazing to see How many mobile games Lego has been able to make with Star Wars
Hype for skywalker saga!
Holy cow I forgot a lot of these games but I’ve played them all and boy they were fun
For a kid born in good old 2007 im having very nostalgic flashbacks watching this video. I remember when i got my first xbox 360 playing the complete saga and the clone wars.
I think TCS will always remain my most favorite, but TSS may be a contender as well.
12:00 I swear I’ve seen this game before 2020🤔
Dude it 2019 not 2020?
My first and favorite lego star wars game was the complete saga, i enjoyed the clone wars alot as well. Brings back so much nostalgia.
4:21 I actually had this game when I was like...5. Good times. I only had the fist and second episodes, but it was still fun.
11:26 yeah true it really wasn't that bad, i feel like people said it was bad just because it was based on the force awakens
Dude how the heck did you miss Lego Star Wars: Ace Assault I and II, seriosly, they are some of the most nostalgic and first games I've ever played
Ace Assault? The one where you fought in starships? I loved that game.
@@pbscars6320 exacly that one
YES I LOVED THOSE
I have so much for the Lego Star Wars games, I spent so much time playing them. Lego Star Wars 2 is especially memorable because it's how my oldest friend and I started talking. We were at school and we crossed paths, asked each other what games were we playing and we both mentioned Lego Star Wars 2
Wow this reminds me of how much Lego Star Wars games I have played. It’s very
11:51
So basicly, lego clash royale
LEGO Star Wars games have really improved in almost two decades. As of now, "LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga" is my #1 favorite, but it will soon be dethroned once "LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga" releases on April 5.
I remember playing Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar. That game was super fun!
LSW III was my childhood game, loved it so much
“Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga” is my favorite Lego Star Wars game, mostly because I didn’t like the sequel trilogy. I wish they made a Lego version of Star Wars Rebels.
same
They brough back tiny death Star for some counties or at least on Google play store when i saw that i was so happy i used to play this game for Hours
Great video
sick video! Loved it :)
14:05 No character customization?! No. No, I’m sad now. That’s been a staple in Lego games.
There was a game that they made to promote Lego Star Wars 3 and it was like a platform/ mmo
Loved most of these
I also played the ds version.
I was very shocked to see the reflective light from the sabor.
Very impressive.
but still a lightsaber
There’s one that’s missing that I hoped to see because I could never remember the name. It visually looked very similar to Advent Calendar, was made in Unity, and was played in a browser. All I remember was that you could find other mini figures and take over their bodies to play as them, I must’ve played that when I was very young. Anyone know the name?
it seems like everyone that’s played it can’t remember the name
@@igstevenp6511 same here haha. I only remember that it was based on lego clone wars i think and it also was multiplayer
Lego Star Wars 3 the Clone Wars was my first lego star wars game. I had it on the Wii and played it over and over again for years. I had even managed to unlock Savage Opress haha
I remember playing the original Lego Star Wars game on the GameCube. I LOVED that game so much!

I remember playing lego star wars the video game on my grandma's phone and i loved it, their used to be an angrybirds star wars but i dont think its around anymore..
The sound of the advent calendar death still gives me ptsd to this day.
Lego Star Wars Force Building was my first Lego game and I spent hours playing when I was little

The complete saga was my literal childhood and is still one of my fav games
That battlefield on Lego Clone Wars is my fav! Like the things u can put cannon, barrack, robots!!!!
