I had a girl, she passed away this year at the age of barely 9.
Hands down best, smartest, funniest, most brave lion in a tiny floofer's body I've ever met.
@@Sapphiresenthiss i’m so sorry for you :( my grandmas dog was i believe 19 and she passed away last year in september. she grew up with me and i miss her so much. she had so much energy and so much love for my whole family and we all deeply miss her
@@michaelmai6972 You all were very lucky to have her with you for such a long time. 6 months passed here and I'm still nowhere close to be done grieving.

We had 2, mias them. Last one left us in Aug almost age 16. Home not the same. Told wife they come in “pairs”. 😏. Finding reputable breeder. It needing a show dog. Just love them Poms.

I think many small dogs can live to be well over 10 years. Pomeranians in particular can live 15-20 years sometimes. A couple of these dogs could still be alive, but elderly. ♥️
I cried when I saw the year and thinking about how cute they all were🥺❤️

At first the pom was all serious and business like and I was wondering why no cute little pomeranian smile? Then on the way to the big #1 there it was- the happy smile. That pom knew they realized he was #1. I have a pom but those are all such nice breeds.

They are the most cutest things and they are so easy to train
I had ALOT of potty training issues with breed!
They are incredible pups, but need trying like a big dog.

Pomeranians are known for their serious and spunky attitude. Mix that with their natural high gate, and you got a show dog!
I have a Throwback that is way bigger. He naturally deters off the coyotes as is natural for Throwbacks to do. But once he got in the house, that smaller side kicked in and he pranced through the entire house with his feet high, head high and tail curled.
"This is my house!"
Can't go wrong with the spunk.
Years late but well done to all those dogs. They were incredibly cute, well groomed and had amazing walks. The Pomeranian was just lovely though. Not sure if he knew what exactly was going on but his smile at winning was just great. Probably went home and got a nice meal and toy.
Or, if things abroad work the same way they do in my country, went back to a small cage, until the next show.
Which I'm having my fingers crossed for is not the case anywhere else but in most FCI mass-'breeders' in my country.

All the dogs were so cute and pretty well groomed. The Yorkie was my favorite it's not a dog I would get but I would like one and I don't care but I loved her personality and how groomed and shiny she was , adorable.

Is it only me that thinks some of them pull a bit to hard with the leash? I understand that they need to walk nicely but you could see that the short haired chihuahua was struggling to breath.

In Ireland you can show a puppy in a baby puppy class, not too sure about the UK. It's a great learning curve for starting off puppy showing as it gets them used to the ring as well as socialising them with other dogs.

Shay Bunnie Showdogs need to be well- trained; they have to accept strangers and other dogs being near them. One bite disqualifies them from ever being shown again! Showdogs can be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars- it’s a s tipis professional sport event and these dogs are athletes ! I show dogs and we start training our pups at 6 weeks old!
Shay Bunnie All dogs , not only shiwdigs, should be trained not to bite or fight with other dogs. A breed that acts up gets a terrible reputation - look at

I love Pomeranian UwU
I had two purebred long haired chihuahua from different breeders. Both of them developed genetic illnesses and made it to only 7 and 8 years old. It was very sad. I also had a large sized chihuahua who must have been mixed with something due to her size. She lived to be 17 years old. I hope they can reduce the genetic weaknesses in these dogs and breed the ones who live long. They become family members, it’s very hard to see them suffer.
