one thing to keep in mind and it does make a massive difference is the batteries are not the same a 1.5ah vs a 2.0ah is a big difference buy the 4.0 battery for the Hyper tough and try this again hyper tough is hands down the better tool i like the video just hate that its shown with a weaker battery you can go to walmart buy up to 7 different 12v tools from walmart and batteries and fast chagers hyper tough is best bang for the buck in my opinion ive had mine for going on 2 years now and they have been run through the ringer and still truck along today i use them at the Dealer i work for and i love these tools very much i do have milwakuee but for the money these are the way to go
I must have gotten a good one then lol, I got it cause it was a steal and I just ran a couple 3in screws into a 4x4 and bored 4 holes in a 2x4 with a 3/4 inch pallet bit and it’s still full charged and didn’t bog down. I’m sure qa is terrible but some of them must be decent for what they are. Definitely enough power to do small things especially with pilot holes
This goes to show for the casual home user the HyperTough is good enough. (Now to check my conscious if I should get rid of my Milwaukee Fuell power tools.)
I had both and similar experience. DCK is better. Hypertough couldnt drive a 2" drywall into a stud (speed 1 or 2). I have 3 DCKs bought at $30, $30, and $43 before the price increased. Aside from performance it is better balanced and a lower pitch, less annoying sound than the hypertough. This is now my main drill for woodworking. Hope it lasts.
I would like to see a clutched driver budget showdown. Maybe even including those 5in1 or 3in1 tools. Hercules, hypertough, amazon, maybe against bosch and Milwaukee.
Boreas Cordless Drill Set, 12V Electric Drill Driver with 42 Acessories, Home Power Drill Cordless with 3/8" Keyless Chuck, 2 Speed, 18+1 Position, Built-in LED, Clutch Drill for Home DIY Projects
Remember folks, you too can gets your hands on Jim's DCK for the low low price of $60. And that includes the whole package, not just the bare tool
😂🤣😂🤣😂
WoW! Holy Smokes! 😯🙄😃🤣
TTC is even funnier in other RUclips channel. I'm still laughing.
I think the difference is 2Amp vs 1.5Amp. And, yes the amp rating of the battery can make a big performance difference.
@@joeboxter3635 There You go thinkin’ again, Joe! 😯 🙄 😂
I'm glad DCK and SLONG are still around, such fun brand names to gift to people! 😅
😎⚒️😎⚒️😎, ugh....I thought you finally got around to the 860🤦🏻♂️
There are so many jokes, and only TTC got one in. 😢
I do have a beard.

Caveat emptor. Hyper Tough is not worth the money and Walmart does not honor the Hyper Tough Warranty. 😣
They hyper tough is pretty sweet for a little cheap drill, but i want the DCK for the MF name !!!
Solid video! Would be cool to see how other tools from both lineups compare like impacts drivers, ratchets, etc

get the 4 ah battery for Hyper Tough will solve the position 2 issue did for me.

Struggling with wood when you have a half inch diameter reduced shank 😅
A DCK without hammer mode isn't hyper tough.
Great video, Jim. Thanks!
