For sure I’ll bet it was difficult because Terry is a star in both FF and KOF, I’m sure a vid on Mai Shiranui would be as long too as she has a similar role. Here I was thinking the Kyo vid would be the longest.
He actually got the legendary (hungry) wolf name because of his fight with Geese which was so intense it was compared to a fight between hungry wolves.

This was good, I've always loved the SNK characters over Capcom's fighter characters.. SNK fighter characters, were not only more stylish, but felt much deeper, like you really wanted to know them. It all made sense, when I later read stuff from designers, who stated that they treated their characters like real people. This was a huge inspiration for me, in creating characters for a beat-em-up game, which will share the same world as the fighting game.
Not only that but they are loosely based on real people. Terry Bogard and Ryo Sakazaki = U.S. martial arts master and actor Loren Avedon Wolfgang Krauser= German wrestler Karl Kotch Joe Higashi(post Fatal Fury 2 incarnation)= Thai Kickboxer Baukaw Banchamek Gai Tendo= Japanese MMA fighters Caol Uno and Kakushi Sakaraba, the list goes on!
@@ramonantoniobennett-ryuuke6301 YUP. I remember my brothers and I would have fun guessing who they were modeled after. I'm pretty much doing the very same thing with my fighting game characters.

It's heavily implied by the creators at SNK that Geese is Terry's and Andy's biological father as well. And Easter egg/hint of that was in Art of Fighting 2- ever wonder why a young Geese Howard looks damn near identical to Andy Bogard? And how Terry felt a sense of "regret" after Geese's apparent "death"?
*Terry gets announced* "Man, I feel like I wasted money on this Fighters Pass..." *weeks later* Learns about him more (memes, short "about him and SNK" video) & buys SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1, completely new for 80 Euros. But in all seriousness - thank you so much for this video! I am a 90's kid and I love Smash, but before his Smash announcement I didn't even know that Fatal Fury/The King of Fighters existed (illness called "Nintendo fanboy blindness"). But the more I researched and found out about him, his and other SNK franchises, the more I started to like him (and Mai...and Yuri). In the end, I'm glad that such a historically important character is in and that Sakurai, his team and Nintendo think about people outside of Japan, USA and Europe. Now I have a good grasp about the lure of Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters too, thanks to your video! P.S.: I'm also up for wacky songs like Haremar Faith Capoeira School song and anime-like songs such as Psycho Soldier - man, does this vocal song sound sooo good!
@@VixXstazosJOB Tbh idk. Maybe not enough marketing/mouth-to-mouth propaganda? Maybe video games not being mainstream/accepted enough during SNKs glory days in my region? Maybe magazines not talking enough about them in the late 90s? I was born in 1992 (Central Europe) and the first video game things I remember are the N64, GB and PS1. After that, it was all about Nintendo, Sega, Sony and Microsoft. Thank God for the re-releases though, otherwise some series probably would've been completely forgotten over the time. Luckily, SNK seems to be one of the best non-console-producing company to keep their old IPs alive with re-releases and/or new entries (atleast from what I can tell). I only wish that more companies would've released their Wii VC games on disc (maybe it was hard to negotiate with Nintendo about that?). Can't help but imagine SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 2 with later (and seemingly better versions) of KoF, Fatal Fury, Samurai Shodown and more...
Bradevit Super Nintendo was the first system I played fatal fury one and two on. Nothing beat street fighter 2 turbo as far as popularity but you musta been under a rock bro! Lmao glad you found your way SNK is a great company huge video game legacy enjoy
@@johndewberryiii9925 Yup, can't deny that I haven't been living under a rock xD Now that you mention it...I think the first time I heard about Street Fighter was when a friend wanted me to download SF2T on the Wii - which I did (just for him)...and then he literally played it only on this day xD Wasted 800 Wii points for nothing lol. (He is a SF Fan tho). Next thing I remember was SF4 which this friend was extremely hyped about (if I remember corretly) - and another one played and praised the game aswell. Even tho I suck badly at Fighting Games like Fatal Fury and Samurai Shodown (had to rage-quit after failing the 6th (FF) & 4th level (SS) a few times on Normal difficulty (SNK difficulty 3)) I really came to appreciate what SNK has created. I can already list more characters from SNK series than SF that I like design-wise off the top of my head (Terry Bogard, Mai Shiranui, Yuri Sakazaki, Nakoruru, Haohmaru, Athena Asamiya, just to name a few). Yes, they look simple and - in a world and time with overdesigned characters - sometimes even a little bit too stereotypical. But hey, I love me some easy recognizable characters with rememberable personalities :D Also kudos to SNK for not making different versions of one game like Capcom (Turbo, Super, Ultra, Hyper) but rather attempting different gameplay styles and ideas (Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, The King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, King of the Monsters). For a beginner who only recently got introduced to SNK I really write too much hahaha xD
Voan Siam what if he is? They are all blond. What if Gesse actually fathered them all? Maybe he didn’t plan Terry and Andy idk if they are blood brothers or two kids that Jeff Bogard adopted and raised as brothers. Maybe Geese only wanted to be involved with Rocks mother and threw the other women away like in the first animated movie and with them they’re sons.
Actually it's the Japanese video game age rating boards that "cucked" mai. Sakurai would have loved to put her in the back ground considering he actually likes the character.
This video was SO well-made! You had it right in saying that when he hit the scene he was so different from other fighters in any fighting game because he has normal clothing on instead of martial arts uniforms. That fact made him my favorite of all time back in the 1990s. Still is my favorite character of all time to this day!
Same, except for me it was like 2010 when I had only played few fighting games like Tekken. Terry was always my favorite Fatal Fury character. I'm 21 now.
After watching this video, all i can say is...; I... FREAKING... LOVE... IT!!! BOY, THIS VIDEO IS REALLY WORTH THE WAIT!!! Oh yeah, i'm totally gonna download this one and added this to documentary collection for both future references and training material, now i can finally show this to my nieces and nephews if they will ask me why do i always wear a cap all the time and why i am "The Black Wolf" and also why do i always have a Terry in my team everytime we play KOF, this video is already enough to explain to them why do i want to be like him, like seriously this man is the best protagonist for a fighting game; he doesn't just have a cool and awesome design but also a very rich backstory, colorful personality, a very warm attitude, an awesome moveset with a very versatile ability, unique friendly charisma, powerful yet humble and also not to mention, how amazing he handles his depression where no signs of it are visible on his face, it's like he never had any problems encountered in his entire life but his mental strength is so admirable, Boy, i enjoyed watching this, it reminded me of why i feel in love with Terry Bogard as character and my inspiration and also how i got my own motto in life, it's "Regardless of what it is, always have fun!; And you'll be surprised what happens next." Let me say thank you for spending time and effort in composing this video, even for me i knew that this lore with take so long to complete because Terry has a very rich story but you were still able to create an in-depth and well detailed lore video of him, i'm totally impressed!, You did a very good job, me and Terry are hats off to you and "OKAY!". Please never stop making these very passionate videos and continue sharing your love for these stuff, again thank you. P.S. i know this already too much but may i ask if, are you still going to do a lore video of Benimaru Nikaido?, I just want to give justice to him because in every KOF saga he always has a big role in every saga but his always set aside and often forgotten as an important character, even though Terry's lore video is enough for me but i still find myself unsatisfied because until now, i still haven't seen a complete video about Benimaru Nikaido or how important he is in every KOF story, I just wish someone would do a lore video about him or even a tribute, but it's ok if it's too much for i understand but if you do, don't worry i will still patiently wait for it just like how i waited for Terry's video, so don't pressure yourself, "OKAY". AGAIN, THANK YOU, I ENJOYED IT.
23:54 LOL. I can't help but laugh at the part when Terry kicked Mai out with such a cartoonish effect like kick much to Andy's chagrin. It really made me laugh my ass off.
I just want to say, with the advent of this being a good year to get into the Fatal Fury franchise, I want to thank you for pretty much being the only guy who has comprehensive lore about the franchise and its characters.
Terry has long been one of my favorite characters, but even I learned a few things from this video that I wasn't fully aware of (trying to get a hold of all the games for the full story is difficult). One thing that a lot of people fail to recall about Terry is that he is a masterful craftsman in the art of Trash Talk. While cheerful and carefree and an all-around good guy, Terry is not above using psychological means to get under his opponents skin to throw off their groove while keeping a level head in the process. This is demonstrated most clearly in the intro snippets between characters in KOF XIII. Most notably against Ash Crimson, who often chastises, derides, or insults other fighters with an air of superiority and confidence. Terry is the only character who manages to turn it around on him and get him angry. It's all just fluff though. Terry (usually) doesn't mean anything by it, and is quick to patch up any hurt feelings after the bout. He's a real class act, but he's also very human. He's never held a stable job or has any true career goals. He'll often abuse Mary's fondness for him (though he's careful not to overdo it). He likes to overeat and knows how to be lazy, but he also loves the thrill of a good fight. The whole reason I want a new Fatal Fury game as opposed to a new KOF game is because I want to see Terry shine again. KOF has its own heroes and villains, and Terry, being the star of a different series, isn't ever given a prominent role. Fatal Fury endings as of late have all been about how single Joe is and are more or less irrelevant. I'd like to see the story of the Hungry Wolf pushed a little further once again.
I agree with all what you said. I would be even cooler if they make Terry more relevant to the KOF timeline (just like how they did with Kim and Yamazaki).
Well-said. I thought after seeing his render in Smash he was going to be another cocky, annoying show-offy character, but upon looking him up and reading more about him, there's actually a lot of heart to him, which I would never expect. Ken is the same way, acts cocky but is really a nice guy.
Don't know if Terry would be a primary focus for a Fatal Fury game again because that's Rock Howard's role now. I would LOVE to see Terry vs Mr. Karate 2 in a MOTW 2 though.
EXACTLY it's about TIME Terry shined again as a proper Hero. I want to see another Fatal Fury game where he had the importance that made his character to begin with. He has been in "KOF Prison" too long. Regarding Rock-he is cool but he isn't Terry.
@@Ticketman99Technically, even though Rock is the new protagonist, Terry is still a protagonist in current Fatal Fury. That's one of the reasons why he's in Mark of the Wolves and City of the Wolves, the second reason being that he is too popular to remove from the roster, and the last one... is because he enjoys fighting that damn much.
From all fighting games, Terry Bogard have always been my favorite Protagonist, he is the embodiment of COOL, his fighting style is so unique and his personality shines compared with all others FG protagonist.
I actually always thought for the longest time that Mary was already married to Terry. But now that I know and you brought this to my attention my friend I have a lot more wisdom about it now. Thank you so much
9:11-9:33 Okay that part was amazing. 23:53-23:58 too. Also what timing Shoryu, I was just playing Terry's classic mode in Ultimate when I got notified by this. Terry Bogard is one of the reasons why in fighting games I care for the lore and characters a lot. Terry is one of the most recognizable fighting game character for me not just because he's fun to play, but because of his charm and really interesting story about his life. Now I know that when people mostly get into a fighting game it's mostly for, you know, the "fighting" portion. However Terry is one of the biggest examples of what happens when a company actually cares about their characters and gives them growth, purpose and desires. I swear the only two companies I can think that actually really care for their story and characters along with the gameplay and do it fairly well in my eyes are SNK and Arc System Works.
Good timing with this one, hope a lot of people watch it, and I hope daddy Sakurai pouring as much love as he did into his Fatal Fury/KoF/SNK/Neo Geo presentation will get more people into these games. Keep up the great work, these videos will do wonders for the new generation of KoF fans.
If that were to happen... I have a crazy idea of what's gonna happen. Instead of playing as Terry and fight Rock as the boss, you play as Rock, and you have to beat Terry, who is quite tough... but as the battle keeps going on, Rock becomes so powerful that he even manages to overwhelm Terry at the end of the battle. And... Rock actually defeats Terry, but before he delivers the finishing blow, he remembers how Terry raised him, and got back his self-control. He apologized to Terry and then they would proceed forward what will happen next. Now, I know this won't happen, because Rock is supposed to be a hero, and some fans wouldn't like Terry losing, but I think it would be cool.
Terry is my favorite fighting game lead protagonist. Very different compared to other leads in fighting games by not being Asian (though it's rumored that Terry is a decent of Haohmaru), not a sole karateka or kenpo practitioner, and was more of an early Mixed Martial Artist. I think SNK must've made some retcons since the 1999 regarding Garou Densetsu/Fatal Fury 3 & Real Bout because Geese defeated Terry in there second battle and was so powerful after collecting the scrolls that it took him and Andy to fight Geese but Terry gave Geese the final blow. Geese thought the power of the scrolls would save him but the Jin brothers got the scrolls back and performed an enchantment that took the power away from Geese. Hence why he didn't survive. Again that's how I remembered reading things back in 1999. Can't wait for your next KOF (SNK) Lore video.
Wait how is Terry a descendent of Haohmaru where did you get that information I actually would like to read that I don’t see anything about him being a descendant of Haohmaru
@@ryutsubohachi5615 it was a rumor that was floating around when Samurai Showdown 2 came out. I'm not sure it's confirmed or debunked but that was what people were saying back in the day.
scw2007 I see when did this rumor spread in never heard of this Rumor I always heard Samurai Showdown maybe or maybe not canon too the Story of Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters and Last Blade is cannon too them
This was a great summary of Terry's history for people like me. I'm not too familiar with The King of Fighters series or SNK, so I'm pretty much discovering a whole new universe of games. I'll have to play one of them at some point when I have the time and money, and since it's almost Christmas time I'll soon have plenty of both.
Nice video, and Terry is by far my favorite SNK character and has probably the best story of anyone in SNK lore. I am glad he is getting more promotion in crossovers than Kyo and Iori, as he is by far more interesting than them both. Seeing him appear in Fighting EX Layer and then being announced for Super Smash Brothers brought a smile to my face.
Mary, I give you my cap, take good care of it Wow, Terry you... Give it back to me for the next tournament and we will pretend that this ending is not canon But- It's easier than making me a different sprite! XD
The people at SNK completely nailed it with Terry. From his design and his character arc across all the games he appeared in, to his personality and even his move set were all perfect. He's the kind of guy that all the girls wanna be with but he really just wants to fight and hang out with the boys.
What’s with SNK characters and blossoming their romance by beating the hell out of each other? XD Anyway, Terry’s my boy and this video couldn’t happen at a better time. I was so happy when this BA wolf was announced for SSBU. Another solid video, ShoryuGame. I love that Mai getting kicked out joke. XD
It's what you call "Tough Love." Just like in Mortal Kombat you could have characters that love each other like Sonya and Johnny Cage break each others necks or blown each other up. Or Jax doing the same to his daughter.
This is amazing and Terry is very much FF as he is KoF. Will you go in depth about one of my favs Geese Howard? I think there's something more special about him and his rise to power. This man had Soo much of an impact nightmares of him had people shook. Might need to talk about Maximum impact also because South Town.
As I know Terry won against Rock and instead of fighting Kain he fought Grant at the last stage since Terry comments he took more beatings from larger guys like him, while Rock went to Kain why Terry's ending he was searching for him, but both endings connect to each other and have the same ends, you can go with Rock or Terry winning the fight and at the end Rock still leaving and probably returning in a villain role or reconciling with Terry.
This is great for me because as KoF 99 was my first KoF and SNK game, I had no idea about Fatal Fury and always thought Terry was made for KoF. Wasnt until the Terry Smash announcement and turning me back to SNK that got me aware of the Fatal Fury stuff.
Thats actually Tung Fu Rue’s move if you play as him in any Fatal Fury, KOF game he is in or in Neo Geo Battle Coliseum I guess in the anime because in the lore he trained Terry, Andy, younger Geese, Jeff Bogard they wanted to show in some form that Tung passes a torch down to Terry obviously him learning that move is non canon along with dying because we do see him in both FF and KOF continuities to the game but Tung trained both Bogards significantly in both lores.
@@corpsedesecrator2612 FACT: Tung Fu Rue and Jubei Yamada were both based on Master Roshi from Dragon Ball. While Tung Fu Rue had the ability to use ki and transform into a more muscular version of himself, Jubei had Roshi's perverted nature. Also one trained Terry while the other trained Andy.
@@VOAN Correction: Andy trained under Hanzo Shiranui. It's how Andy met Mai(who's Hanzo's granddaughter). Mai was trained under Jubei Yamada because Hanzo was focusing on Andy...which is kinda dumb because Hanzo's Mai's grandpa and Jubei's a pervert who(obviously)was checking Mai out lecherously🤷
I've been playing all of these games since the 90's and I somehow never realized that Fatal Fury and King of Fighters were not the same timeline. Naturally I always questioned how Geese was alive in KoF96 and especially in KoFXIV, but I just assumed they were ignoring the story to bring back fan favorite characters. Very informative video, thank you for making these videos!
Terry is my favor video game character of ALL time, his easy going, positive energy is non-matched with his unique personality. He is also a character been through pain and internal struggles since his youth and he still able stand back up and move on from his past. A true hero that no many video game characters can match.
I love the garou densetsu! I think Terry has become the main face for SNK because he's a every man. Yes he has extraordinary skills, but like Rock Lee, Baki hanma or even Goku, Terry earned every bit of his skill and strength. I love the fact that Terry took a lot of azz kickings before he developed his own martial arts. I even have a fatal fury hat sitting in my closet that i got from getting one KOF game lol. How awesome would a storyline be with the gods from the scrolls vs the orochi disciples? Keep the great videos coming Shoryu!
Terry Bogard is my favorite character from Fatal Fury and the kings of Fighters can you do a video about his brother and his rivals like geese Howard and krauser your channel is awesome.
Fun Fact: Terry Bogard was originally meant to be the main character in Street Fighter (1987), the blonde guy with a jacket during the intro was an early version of him created by former Capcom-turned SNK game-director Takashi Nishiyama.
Am a fan of Terry since KoF 98 and played most Fatal Fury and KoF games. Thanks for the extensive lore video, I learned new things today :D It's also a good explanation of the weird story-telling going on in most SNK games.
I have to say two things which is GREAT video, and THANK YOU for putting it together. Terry Bogard has been my FAVORITE Fighting game hero, ever since Fatal Fury hit the scene in 91. I don't care what anyone says...yes In story wise, Ryo was the first KOF champ, and Kyo became the KOF champ in the team tournaments but in reality TERRY BOGARD debut first, and he and FATAL FURY helped the other two names and helped put SNK on the map!
I remember....and also Ikari Warriors in 1986 as well. Though the name "KOF" started in Fatal Fury, and Terry and Ryo going head to head in Fatal Fury Special you could say was the kickstart to KOF 94
As I said before, it would interesting to have another AOF title, with Ryo, and gang and the dealings with the Sakazaki clan and how they have been dealing with things in Southtown, as well as finding out what Rock has been through with Kain.
*@ShoryuGame* Thank you so much for this.! This I by far the BEST History of Terry I've ever seen. I actually wish it could've been longer than 29 mins lol. Also as much as I love Geese in Tekken,Terry would've been awesome in it.
This is the best Terry Bogard video in RUclips and it's not even close. It reminded me why he's my favorite FG character. He's just effortessly cool & likable. It's a shame the Garou storyline remained unfinished with Rock's departure. However, I still think that Terry's lore is quite consistent (as long as you understand the two timelines thing of FF/KOF) and I always enjoyed how his character arc basically boils down to doing for Geese's son what his adoptive father did for him.
i played more Fatal Fury/KOF than Street Fighter as a kid, i remember seeing the cabinet for the first time and thinking this looks better than SF, the colours, stages, character animation and specials. Only picked SF up again after "Alpha" and "X-Men vs SF" lol
I have to admit that back then that(mid 90's mind you) the only fighting games that i knew in arcades were Street Fighter, Soul Calibur and MK but know very little about Fatal Fury. I don't have Smash Ultimate but i always love to see unexpected surprises join the roster. Thanks for posting an interesting background story for Terry. I swear i never knew that these fighting games have stories lol
Been binge watching your videos, and wow am I glad I watched this one. I actually didn't know Ffury and Kof weren't in the same timeline either. It's also funny that these characters don't age. I was 10 in 1994 and was younger than all these characters by far, but now somehow I'm older than most lol. By the way, why does Terry bother even fighting Geese. He always comes back. He never dies!
@@ShoryuGame Thanks to you, and I have a questión. If Terry stayed in Southtown, and Andy Bogard went to Japan how they did train with máster Tung Fu? If he lives in China?
My favorite fighting game character of all time, I admired him since I was a child, he's carefree and friendly attitude was a refreshing image in the 90's with character that were either martial artist masters who never take off their Gi and ninjas with hard on honour belief systems or simply way to cool for schoold edgy characters who are very dated. Terry shows real sportmanship and always enjoys the fight not the result, being a good image for the community, no wonder he's the face of SNK. His personality is well translated into his play style as it's always a joy to play with him. Loved this video good to see some love for the Legendary Hungry Wolf especially in English, I'm used to see SNK, KOF lore content in Spanish but this is good to close the gap and make more people more aware of this characters and their respective game series.
He seems cool. I thought he was gonna be another cocky, arrogant show off type of character, but after looking up his series and learnt more about him he's actually an all-around easy-going person, it's hard to believe he was an orphan and went through the things he did. I also wouldn't expect a guy like him to spend his free time playing games or having a pet monkey named Ukee.
Terry is always my hero, he has both style and the true personality of a hero! He is also very polite person and always ask if other people is okay! Are you okay?
This video took more time to make than it should have. Thank you all for you patience and I hope it was worth the wait.
Absolutely was
For sure I’ll bet it was difficult because Terry is a star in both FF and KOF, I’m sure a vid on Mai Shiranui would be as long too as she has a similar role. Here I was thinking the Kyo vid would be the longest.

didn't the end of mark of the wolfs and the fight with his uncle implie his dark powers come from his mothers side?
It's heavily implied by the creators at SNK that Geese is Terry's and Andy's biological father as well. And Easter egg/hint of that was in Art of Fighting 2- ever wonder why a young Geese Howard looks damn near identical to Andy Bogard? And how Terry felt a sense of "regret" after Geese's apparent "death"?
@@ramonantoniobennett-ryuuke6301 I definitely agree with the resemblance to Andy. I wouldn't be surprised if this were the case.

*Terry gets announced* "Man, I feel like I wasted money on this Fighters Pass..."
*weeks later* Learns about him more (memes, short "about him and SNK" video) & buys SNK Arcade Classics Vol.
I'm glad I could help.
seriously... how come only LatinAmerica - and Japan obviously - know more about an amazing company like SNK
But hey, I love me some easy recognizable characters with rememberable personalities :D
Also kudos to SNK for not making different versions of one game like Capcom (Turbo, Super, Ultra, Hyper) but rather attempting different gameplay styles and ideas (Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, The King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, King of the Monsters).
For a beginner who only recently got introduced to SNK I really write too much hahaha xD

I'm 21 now.
Really loved this detailed lore. It had so much more content than the previous videos. Great work bro
After watching this video, all i can say is...;
I... FREAKING... LOVE... IT!!!
BOY, THIS VIDEO IS REALLY WORTH THE WAIT!!!
Oh yeah, i'm totally gonna download this one and added this to documentary collection for both future references and training material, now i can finally show this to my nieces and nephews if they will ask me why do i always wear a cap all the time and why i am "The Black Wolf" and also why do i always have a Terry in my team everytime we play KOF, this video is already enough to explain to them why do i want to be like him, like seriously this man is the best protagonist for a fighting game; he doesn't just have a cool and awesome design but also a very rich backstory, colorful personality, a very warm attitude, an awesome moveset with a very versatile ability, unique friendly charisma, powerful yet humble and also not to mention, how amazing he handles his depression where no signs of it are visible on his face, it's like he never had any problems encountered in his entire life but his mental strength is so admirable,
Boy, i enjoyed watching this, it reminded me of why i feel in love with Terry Bogard as character and my inspiration and also how i got my own motto in life, it's
"Regardless of what it is, always have fun!;
And you'll be surprised what happens next."
Let me say thank you for spending time and effort in composing this video, even for me i knew that this lore with take so long to complete because Terry has a very rich story but you were still able to create an in-depth and well detailed lore video of him, i'm totally impressed!, You did a very good job, me and Terry are hats off to you and "OKAY!".
Thanks for you worm comment. I'm glad you loved the video. And don't worry about Benimaru, he is on my list.
So they explain why Terry is having multiverse dreams?
It's probably hinting at a new fatal fury or a garou game. The rumor seems to be more and more true
@Goliath Online And he's using them to fuck with Terry
Its that weird South Town weed.
But first, let me talk about parallel universes.
It's been 26 years but it's coming
I always figured Geese survived by using his hakama as a parachute.
Interesting theory.
Terry in Smash and what better to wait to explore the story of the Hungry Wolf himself.

Mature conversation indeed. Must be their Vice. Get it.

I love the fact this lore is amazing with content but the hungry lone wolf says "OK" was never mentioned. I love the Bogard lore.
Good job man. Terry Bogard is up there with Ryu.
I swear, Ken and Terry are like the best dads. Ken took a blow to the groin and Terry just powered dunk on Rock.
That ending about Rock betraying Terry tho... Makes a great what-if character.
Rock would be very dangerous as an SNK boss, seeing he has access too moves from both Terry AND Geese
@@John-StarkAgreed!
I think Terry is the first single dad of fighting games. Raising the son of your sworn enemy admirable most definitely. Bravo

XD

They are characters in a fighting game after all. For them, love starts from changing punches not numbers.
heck brotherhood is made by going a few rounds of battle
The real problem is those relationships spinning their wheels going nowhere.
It's what you call "Tough Love." Just like in Mortal Kombat you could have characters that love each other like Sonya and Johnny Cage break each others necks or blown each other up. Or Jax doing the same to his daughter.

Great work on this!

I never understood the anime movies giving Terry that tornado like move with the ki and it would NEVER be in the games.

Terry in kof is just "look I'm that guy from the fatal fury... Why am I not important to the story."

Exactly...altough Atena Asamiya did something revolutionary way in 1986: She sang the First Videogame Vocal Theme!!
I remember....and also Ikari Warriors in 1986 as well. Though the name "KOF" started in Fatal Fury, and Terry and Ryo going head to head in Fatal Fury Special you could say was the kickstart to KOF 94
Eh, Ryo is Mr. Karate now😅🤷
As I said before, it would interesting to have another AOF title, with Ryo, and gang and the dealings with the Sakazaki clan and how they have been dealing with things in Southtown, as well as finding out what Rock has been through with Kain.

Glad you enjoyed it!

We need GAROU:MOTW 2
We absolutely do!
If we dont get Garou 2, A new Fatal Fury (timed between realbout 2 and garou) would be just fine...
With Mr. Karate 2 returning.
7:02 I read the Wikipedia regarding Krauser's scar it was a combined attack by Jeff Bogard and Hanzo Shiranui ((Mai's grandfather))
Terry is always my hero, he has both style and the true personality of a hero! He is also very polite person and always ask if other people is okay! Are you okay?
