  • Whats up guys, i have decided to start up a How to play series considering i get a lot of messages asking for tabs on a lot of my covers, so first one of the series will be How to play Bow Down by I prevail. I have added tabs in the video so you can play along to it!

      Haha yea dude super low! I was pushing it with the strings I had on. Right scale length not quite the right gauge strings haha

    Hey dude! Was wondering about this tuning.. G drop right? its straight down to hell lol :)
    What strings do you prefer on this? Pretty thick I guess.. do you think it would work with evertune bridge?

      From memory I’m pretty sure it was Drop G, I prefer a .72 on the lowest string, you can definitely do it on an ever tune, 100%

    Great video, maybe you can add at the end a list of the song parts and how many times you need to play them, for example intro x1, ,verse x1, chorus x2 etc etc

    How do they do the detuning in the intro live? They dont physically detune and theyre not using pedals.

      I believe (and don’t quote me on this) they use a detuning effect in their axefx that may possibly be controlled by their guitar tech. But that’s only a guess. Not 100% sure personally.

    What size string you used ?

      I can’t quite remember unfortunately mate, but I was using my prs 277 baritone so it might’ve been something like a .56 on the low string :)

      It’s actually post processing EQ. I just did a hi and Lo pass filter and played with the mids a little.

    how to tune drop G?

      Typically it works best if you have a extended scale length guitar. So anything between 26.5 to 27 inch would work best man, you could play it on a typical 25.5 inch scale but you’d have to put on real heavy strings and get it setup 🤘🏻

      The distorted sound? I’m using an amp sim called STL tonehub but you can get that overdriven sound by using any high gain amp or high gain amp sim! If you need any further help feel free to hit me up on Insta and I’ll be happy to answer anything! (@ tylerpacemusic)
