- Cellist Charlotte Miles (aged 16) and Ian Munro (Piano) performing an arrangement for Cello and Piano of Camille Saint-Saens' "Danse Macabre" at the Sanguine Estate Music Festival in Bendigo, Australia on May 12th, 2019.
RIP that bow hair. It just couldn't even with the awesomeness of Saint-Saëns
Besides the one mishap with the snare, in the beginning, this was absolutely astonishing. As a cellist myself, this is very impressive, and an unfortunate mishap with the snare like that making a bit of a sharp scratching sound sometimes just happens.
This is my favorite arrangement of Danse Macabre, I always come back to it when I need some inspiration :)
Ultimate goal and inspiration! 😍
It's... Perfect...
Love it!!! You were amazing. I can't play like you, but I playing this music piece but a different arrangement. Keep it up. You play beautiful!
Awesome! This deserves more views. Good work on both the cellist and the pianist. Love from Melbourne
Excelente adaptación , interpretación y gran sonido, me gustaría poder tener la pieza a la mano y tocarla
Awesome! Is this "just" the violin/piano version by Saint-Saens' with the cello part transcribed down an octave, or a different version? Anything done to the piano part?
Brilliant!
Epic adaptation

I think this piece better suited for violin but she did a really fine job!
I like the cello actually more than a violin, its got that darkness the theme deserves.
