I'm trying to crochet your tulip stitch, and have tried multiples of 6 (30, 36) but 24 seems to be the only width that works as far as having 3 stitches left on that first row. If I use 30 or 36, i have 5 stitches left on that row. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated!

Did you add 4 chains after the chain of 30
Funny how the names of stitches change over the years. This one was called the Crazy Stitch.
