    Yessss! I have been dying inside to see your video and the things you've gotten. That beginning Autocar McNeilus was nice, the dumpster that it was collecting is interesting. Usually I see those type of dumpsters in Downtown. 203025 was AMAZING! The burgundy paint, the roar, the smoke, you name it! It was a true beast, 263026 was nice to see on video again. I hope I can either go and get it or it comes to me again lol or 034 lol. I love the revving the driver of 026 puts into the truck it makes it sound amazing! Nice catch on that Mack to it sounded good when revving, hope you have better luck next time on the Mack Hardox. Great post bro!!

      Thanks bro! Yeah that first Dumpster sure was neat! Real glad you enjoyed 203025, one of my best finds in my opinion! I hope you can find 026 again too, real cool guy behind the wheel! 034 is in Panorama City if you're ever in that area and wanna go hunting. The Mackreps are next up on the list to film and hopefully we'll get lucky with those too! Glad you liked it!!

    Amazing video Aaron! Glad you went to film some Sun Valley trucks. Man 203025 was my 1st favorite, it would have been cool to see it in action back when it was in burgendy color. 263026 sounded stellar! I wish it did a route closer to me, that unit is just amazing. Nice catch on the McNelius! Next saturday I'll try to film the 519 in my area. Great catch on that Mack, it really sounds great, i hope you can get the Macto Fl lol. It sucks that after this contract it will be harder to find cool trucks like these from various companies. Really great job bro!

      Thanks! Every single trip out there has been so much fun. Haha yeah 026 was amazing all around from the truck to the driver. Looking forward to 519! Always enjoy seeing their trucks in action. Appreciate it bro!

    Such a great video! I always enjoy some good commercial front load action, as there isn't too much of it on YT compared to front loaders with curotto cans or carry cans. Glad to see Volvo Wittkes are still being used around California, especially with all the emission laws and such. Excellent variety of trucks in here too!

      Thank you! I too am glad that these Volvos are still being used. A few are coming up on 20 years which is very surprising to see from WM haha

    Nice video! I really loved the sound of the Autocar and just wanted to drop by and tell you I saw my first WC-painted LEU you were talking about on one of my videos. It looked awesome and hope to film it soon.

    Wow, your video came out great WMmaster626. I just cannot get over all that burgundy bleeding out of the reflective stripe, I love the close up of the truck at 4:53 with the ex Western Waste or Looney Bins dumpster. 8:29 was a great view with the exhaust pipe and the black smoke stain. Ruben sure was a great driver and he made it sound like he was going to miss this truck when it is retired. I'm so glad we found Arturo, literally seconds after we decided to go back to the yard and look for the other Wittke. 10:28, 10:47, 11:38 sounded exactly like Joe's Wittke in Sierra Madre, it would make that sound at every stop it was put into park. The MR Wittke/Leach was great too it looked and sounded intimidating, especially at 14:54 when he battled with the dumpster in the hopper, it reminded me of Javier in Corona. Thank you so much for arranging all these trips to Sun Valley each time. I had a blast and not only were we able to cross the ex WMX chassis of the list, but you also were able to cross Bob's Big Boy of the list. Thanks again WMmaster626!

      Haha thanks Kevin! I'm really happy with everything we've found, and I cannot wait to do another adventure out here! Still gotta cross those Mack Amreps off the list ;-) Arturo's truck was so cool, I definitely wanna get more video of him. Bob's Big Boy and Steak and Shake too! No problem! Always fun!

    Nice job with the video, Aaron! Funny, I was thinking about posting my WM of Sacramento commercial waste collection video and then I found this video. I remember seeing 203025 on my way to the West LA Open House in 2014. Nice to see 263026 is still being put to use, even if it's no longer in Orange County. I remember when I filmed it in Costa Mesa, it was a great truck for filming my first and unfortunately last one of those in action.

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  7 лет назад

      Thanks! Looking forward to that video. Haha that's funny, happen to remember if it was bleeding burgundy back then? Yeah, 263026 is an impressive truck, runs very nicely.

    • @GarbageTruckVideography

      I don't think 203025 was bleeding burgundy, but if you remember that drive by shot of it in Garbage Trucks Part 5 on my channel you can check if it was or not. I could be wrong.

    Great video Aaron! The guy using the outside controls has it wired. I'm supposed to be getting the installed on my truck soon. That will be a big help on this old Gman's knee's..lol I have a lot of containers I get in and out of the truck to put away. Can't wait for those outside controls... Keep those videos coming, you got them wired too!!!

    Awesome! There wasn't a truck I didn't enjoy watching every single clip of...
    Glad you've been able to film some of Sun Valley's Volvos. I liked 203025 the most mainly because of the burgundy paint showing and the relatively good sounding revving. Things really started getting good around 3:45 for sure! Are there any pictures of these units before they were repainted? A part of me also wishes those things still had old rims on them instead of the newer Alcoa's.
    263206 was another story -- sooooo long I've been waiting to see good footage of one of those!! No doubt the WXLL/Wittke combo makes it in my top 3 favorite FL list. You think Sun Valley is bound to keep those for a while? Gotta love how there are 3 WM stickers slapped on that door lol.
    Oh my god - 207757. Just as I thought you didn't have a Mack in this video - but of course you got footage of one! Geez, those things are just tanks. Especially LNG ones down here in SoCal. Just can never beat the roaring of the engine and sputtering of the exhaust. Do you know where that truck originally came from? And what year do you think it is?
    Great video and I do appreciate the effort you guys went to and time you spent to find these considering how hard it is to find a specific truck on commercial in LA. Thanks for posting and reading my ridiculously long ass comment!

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  7 лет назад

      Thank you! Yeah, 203025 turned out to be as good as I could have hoped for, plus Ruben was super cool with us following him. No pictures yet but I'm always on the lookout for old stuff lol I think these are actually the original rims! All the Volvo Centures I've seen have these rims, 203030 is the only one with different rims out of all the ex-WMX ones they still have. I was so glad to find 026! They should have them for at least six more months. They like the old trucks cause they pack more than newer equipment, meaning less loads, and luckily, that means they're going to try and keep them around as long as possible. Haha tank is my exact description of those LNG Leaches. They sound so good. They're original Sun Valley trucks actually, I believe 05s. Always appreciate these long comments and I do enjoy reading them lol so thanks for that and thanks for watching!

    Wow what a great video Aaron! Awesome awesome job on this one! I really enjoyed every truck! Congratulations on finally finding 025, it definitely operated like I thought it would wow! That truck was so awesome and honestly I never knew these trucks were originally on Mcneilus Centuries lol I always thought they were originally Wittkes. 025 definitely looks like a fun truck to film. The WXLL was also a very fun and eye-catching truck. Seeing all the logos on the door was funny and the revs were awesome! Same deal with the Mack. Wow Aaron you did it again great video!

      Thanks bro! I owe it all to you, that one picture you have of 203027 really motivated me to get familiar with Sun Valley's fleet haha I really enjoy all of Sun Valley's trucks, even their Autocars are quite interesting. Thanks again bro!

    Terrific video to say the least. Really makes me miss the Volvo Wittkes Compton used to run in my area. Was the body on 203025 put on that truck new as a replacement for the Century body or was it more recent and came from a different truck? Also, any ideas what may happen to these trucks since I believe the LA City franchising requires trucks less than 8 years old? Awesome video as normal, always enjoy WM's fleet variety you're able to show us.

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  7 лет назад

      Haha thanks Tony! Yeah those were nice trucks, Sun Valley actually runs one of the same units you got video of when it was back in Compton, 202559. Working on tracking it down one of these days, I like how it has a side pipe lol. As for the Wittke body, I believe it was put on new. Kevin remembers when WM replaced a ton of Century bodies with Wittkes out by us in Baldwin Park, so I assume the same was done for Sun Val. They just finished specking out the yard for CNG lines, so new trucks will be on order shortly. There's talk of sending some of the Diesels out of state since they run quite well but I think the main focus right now is getting the yard ready for a fleet and contract at least twice the size of what it currently is. Glad you enjoyed!

    • @NorthOCRefuse2016
      @NorthOCRefuse2016 6 лет назад

      That sucks about the city of LA getting rid of most of their diesels in OC there's still a lot of diesels roaming around and the law only requires trucks that are less than 10 years

  • @zp12684
    @zp12684 7 лет назад

    Great video Aaron! I really like seeing commercial collections and especially all the trucks that WM has running in LA. Crazy that they kept the WMX truck around for that long. Even Fresnos trucks are somewhat newer! What happened to 263026, couldn't decide what sticker they liked on the door lol. Any idea why the switched to gray dumpsters down there?

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  7 лет назад

      Thank you! Yeah they had almost twice as many as they do right now just a year ago. Right now, they're running 4, last year was at least 8 I believe! And one of the trucks, 203020, is almost 20 years old! Haha yeah I was a bit confused at all those logos but it was funny to see. The gray dumpsters are for LA franchising. They wanted to get a jump start on replacing the green Dumpsters since the contract requires that color for trash so when the full roll out comes, there's less to replace. Not sure how familiar you are with the whole exclusive franchising thing going on here in LA, so let me know if you want more in detail.

    • @zp12684
      @zp12684 7 лет назад

      Sure! If you wouldn't mind telling me more about the franchise agreement I'd appreciate it.

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  7 лет назад

      Yeah no problem! Pretty much, this franchise gives each selected hauler the exclusive rights to collect commercial trash in their zone within the city. LA was split up into 11 different zones and a couple months ago, 7 haulers tentatively won agreements to collect in those zones. The haulers and the amount of the city they won goes as follows: Athens Services (31%), Republic Services (25%), Waste Management (24%), Universal Waste Systems (9%), NASA Services (3%), CalMet Services (2%) and Ware Disposal (3%). As part of the agreement, all the haulers have to go with a black/green/blue coloring system for their Dumpsters for different streams, hence why WM has these gray and blue ones on route at the moment.

    awesome video bro!! question. How come these trucks say CA 566 on them? i thought that was only for my yard because all our trucks have CA 566 on them.. anyways great video!#

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  7 лет назад

      Thanks! CA 566 is actually the fleet registration number for some of the old burgundy WM yards. Out by you, Lancaster Disposal; here, Waste Management of Los Angeles, and another example is Oceanside Disposal. The old Western Waste yards all have CA 1243, and the WM yards registered as "Waste Management Collection and Recycling Inc." from the burgundy days are all CA 38990. Hope this makes sense lol Thanks again!
