No problem, Pavan, you can use tableau backup to migrate to different machine and addional configuration will be needed to be done for environment. for vm clone, you better deactivate the license first and may need same hostname and mac address as original one. Hope this help and good luck. Cheers
Hi, you can upgrade directly from 2018.2 or later. With 2018.1 you may need to use backup/ restore after fresh installing 2019.1. Good luck and see how u goes.

If you use ad / saml, yes you need to configure after migration and resync with content.
