It's the series that nobody asked for, and nobody needs - an Irish guy traveling around Israel and Palestine. This series was created in 2022, and was supposed to be uploaded last year, but obvious events got in the way. I was originally waiting for the horror in Gaza to end, but now we know that won't be happening.
Hebron is the most divided in Palestine.
Checkpoints, settlers, soldiers, fear, paranoia, hopelessness.
It is the only city in the West Bank where the settlers and associated Occupation is in the heart of the city. Taking a walk around this Kafkaesque city

This depicts exactly what I saw when I was there: on one side people greet you, smile at you, try to help you and thank you for coming to witness their reality with your own eyes, and on the other, people ask you what you want, why you’re there and if you have nothing better to do or no better places to go.

Not quite! There is no such place as Palestine! The original Abrahamic covenant area is called ancient Judea Samaria that belongs to Israel since they conquered the land ! Hebron is the ancient city of King David! The 'so called Palestinians are nomads from Egypt who beleive if you tell the lie that its your land often enough it will be beleived by the naive and stupid. awesome video, as a Hebrew speaker i can tell you almost all the soldiers saying the stupidest shit at you😂 mostly like not realizing you dont speak Hebrew, even after you told them.
also, its a bit beyond the scope of this travel video,
but on the South Hebron Hills (Masafer Yatta) the biggest displacement of Palestinian pupation in a single action since 48. all that happend before october 7.
also, Hebron city was one of the most important economical centers in Palestine,
even after 48 it was still a pretty successful City, but when the the new settlers in the 80s sized control it took a turn for the worst with more iof and violence.
and finally when the oslo accords divided the city it became much worse.
I think the city is a good example for how modern Israeli occupation is crawling occupation, and bit by bit as you saw with new restrictions and violence the settlers are taking over the city even more.
and presence of the settlers allows the iof to destroy the economy of Palestine. may we get to see the city united one day.
