On your comment of there being no shame in playing on low difficulty, and I wanted to add that Brotato has amazing accessibility settings. If the game isn't fun for you you can tweak the enemy health and damage, as well as plenty of other things. I really recommend fiddling with it if you're having a tough time

I agree with the idea you have at the beginning that the game isn't necessarily more or less difficult (maybe less difficult overall) but I do think that some characters really got screwed by that last patch. Farmer, Pacifist, Explorer, and Saver went from being pretty easy victories to being so difficult to win a run with that I had to grind out runs for hours with some of those characters on Danger 5. I haven't checked out if all of those characters got buffed, but it I know at least two have both with increasing their damage output which I think is great. The biggest struggle I'd have with those characters is just maintaining enough advantage to get through some of those elites. Wave 18 egg spawning elite dude was a run killer for me unless I had achieved the god mode run beforehand.

I think you have really solid developmental takes on a lot of the games you play including Brotato, so I often find myself wanting to express my agreement with you! Lol
2 ideas for new classes. - spend thrift : gets damage down for ever (X) materials at start of round. gains random stat increase every (X) spent - Cursed : inversed upgrades (-) give possitive (+) give negative.
Also: Community Support is definitely one of my favorite items in the new patch. I didn't realize this at first, but it's not Unique... LOL I had a run with Arms Dealer yesterday that got three of them. So uh.... Needless to say that I won that run.
It’s ironic that you mention about farmer and saver, because I’ve been on this quest to at least get all the characters to win on difficulty three. Until the drop of the streamer and the arms dealer, I was having the worst time beating difficulty three with saver and farmer, but ultimately did.
I love community support because it can make some "bad" runs playable and fun, but it's a little too strong I think. Maybe limit it to 2 and give it -3 armor or something
@@Retromation Yeah, I know, its just that if I have unlocked all other chars (so done it in diff 5 for at least one char) I expect that I am somewhat semi-aware-ish of what the game expects of me... and it still pulls my leg! :D Oh well, at least we have you to a. show us how its done and b. take revenge in our name against the tyranny of potatoheads in blobfish :)

I actually really like the Cursed idea. Would make all of the items in the game more interesting to think about.
