Install / Retrofit Shaker 1000 Amps and Subs into your 2005-2009 Mustang that has a Shaker 500

I wanted to install the Shaker 1000 amps and subs since I got them for a good deal but my car only had the Shaker 500. If you were not lucky enough to have a car that was pre-wired for the Shaker 1000 amps and subs, you will have a little bit of work on your hands to get them installed. This is probably way too much detail for anyone, but I wanted to show all that you will have to do to get them installed and working both with an aftermarket head unit and with the OEM Shaker 1000 head unit.

Hey, currently doing this install as well on my 06 GT Vert with the Shaker500. Where did you find a diagram for the plug on the amp that hooks to the harness to go up to the radio and battery? I couldn’t the male end that is attached to the harness so i’m having to cut off the plug and just connect the wires.

I can't even find a s197 with a shaker 1000 system.. 😢
