Trump didn't use the Trump Organization comptroller to show where the reimbursement was, which means the handwriting by Alan Weisselberg is true by Trump's admission in a court filing. That means a $420,000 retainer is actually $180,000 in reimbursement for 2 expenses as well as the $180,000 loss by Michael Cohen for stating that it is income as well as $60,000 severance for Michael Cohen so that Trump could claim it was a retainer. Why would Trump do this? He's hiding the reimbursement. If Trump is claiming they are rogue, then Trump should be attempting to reclaim the money as he is claiming that the money was for something different. Trump didn't press charges, and Trump didn't try to get the money back.
They don't. Cohen made a personal loan to pay the NDA to his client Don the Con. Repaying a loan is not taxable. Grossing up a repayment to cover taxes and make the repayments look like income is the crime.

@@victorsingery2811 No. You need contradicting testimony. Trump should have plead out a long time ago and paid a fine. It's a slam dunk case. Without him saying he didn't do it and offering another explanation he's just counting on jury nullification.
Also, you can't plead the 5th any time. It's only relevant to court testimony. Not talking to the cops is just the right to remain silent which predates the 5th amendment. Also, if you plead the 5th and it's not based on you not wanting to incriminate yourself, for instance if you refuse to answer to not incriminate someone else, that's perjury.

I don’t mind weissman, actually I like hearing his analysis, but if you have kept track, he’s wrong about 70% of the time. About the immunity defense not prolonging the j6 trial, about the Fulton county case not being prolonged, about the Florida documents case.
So now when I hear him I just look at his predictions to see how accurate he is.

The guy committed treason! The laws are pretty clear about treasonous acts. Just the stealing of documents alone should require, at minimum, as he is the former Commander and Chief of the United States Military should be imprisoned at Leavenworth under the UCMJ! There are soldiers there guilty for a lot less than stealing classified documents, battle plans, nuclear armaments, etc. His crimes are undeniable and resolute in their truth and present an actual Clear and Present Danger. Romney suggesting a pardon for treason is a disgrace and within the range of treason, the greatest single offense that can be committed against the United States! The thing is, Cohen isn't on trial. Other witnesses have corroborated his testimony and there is a mountain of documentation to back up what he says. Most of this cross examination is beside the point.
