This is so well made! It's always nice to see videos that show the true perspective of the fandom that is often ignored by the media. Thanks for taking the time to create this documentary.
First class documentary It's a bit of a shame that furrys tend to be portrayed negatively in the media. That's why documentaries like this one are all the more important to set the record straight. Thank you for the work you have put into it.
A documentary about furries made in my home country of Ireland isn't something I see often, so thank y'all very much for making this. I wish your team much success in the near future!
Very well made documentary. The people you interviewed were extraordinary in explaining the truth about the fandom! I love the cinematics aswell. Thank you Aztec for making this, you are a severely underrated production company!
dude this is awesome! this deserves so much more views- The furry community is one that is huge and exciting, It’s always interesting to learn about furries on the other side of the globe!!
So glad to see that there is still amazingly well made documentaries about such a special and precious fandom, which should be more respected and understood.
Im not a furry myself, my best friend is. But I do agree there is WAY too much hate on you guys. They are all ignorant bullies they can't even see their actions are what cause you to feel sperate in the first place.
I'm certainly surprised how skilled this fandom is when it comes to media production and organization, and thankful to the RUclips algorithm for making me dig deeper into what this community really is and has to offer. Truly something I'm finally proud to be part of, good job! 🫶
thank you for this, its lovely to see people putting in the work to set things straight and show that we aren't what people think we are also lovely production quality :D
I see no difference between a furry convention and a medieval festival. People are role-playing something they are interested in. The only thing that is different is one thing. What if other species were as far in evolution as humans are?
Now this just makes me want to nake my own partial fursuit again lol Though I still want to re-design my character perhaps eventually I will. I'm glad there are more positive videos about Furries I'm seeing now than hate, people beed to keep this up so others knows there isn't a difference from being a furry and liking any other hobby.
This is amazing 🤩 I love being a furry! 🩷 (And I don’t care if you try to harass me in the comments, you don’t have to like furries just DON’T harass them)
It honestly doesn’t really matter! You can just watch from the sidelines for a while and see if you like it, and if not that’s fine! And they don’t have to be really humanoid, just talking animals also “qualify” (I good example of this would be the book series Warrior Cats or the movie Lady and the Tramp, just talking animals living out mostly normal lives) Either way, do whatever you want and that makes you happy! I hope this helped you (first time giving furry “advice”)
If u wanna b a furry, you my friend are interested in anthro :) I’m not necessarily the kind of person to say “oh, I’m interested in anthropomorphic animals!!” I just love the style
Kubiando! 🧚♀️🧙♂️ We work a lot of Faerie events, Cons & Renaissance Festivals on the East Coast of the United States & I'm worried everytime Furries show up. But not for the reason you might think considering we're in America. My concern is I worked in Healthcare for years so I get volunteered for the medic tent or I'm the 1 they run to if a medical emergency happens. It doesn't matter if it's over 100° F here & an outdoor event, they will show up in full character. For instance when we've worked Maryland Renaissance it was typical to have at least 3 each day collapse from the combination of heat & too much drink. Alcohol, a 100°+ day, & these full body costumes of fur, foam & duct tape are a horrible combination. Add to it that we are sadly seeing more & more cases of it not being heat stroke that takes them down, it's their heart. So many people unfortunately have had Covid at least once, many have had it 3 or more times prior to the vaccines being available. Those are sadly the ones that are dropping from heart attacks or other cardiac issues at events. So please, we urge you to stay hydrated with electrolytes or water. I've had far too many teens & young adults tell me they deliberately DON'T drink or eat anything before of during an event because the characters are so difficult to get into & out of. Or if they know a venue only has port-a-potties they won't go in it. Also if their mouth design does not allow them to eat/drink while in character, they forgo staying hydrated so they can stay in character, especially if there are little kids around. They don't want to break character where little ones can see. (Personally, I find that commendable) But I can't stress enough how vitally important it is that you stay hydrated & speak up to your companions at the 1st side that you are not feeling well. ESPECIALLY, if you have a racing heart or chest pain, numbness, pain or pins & needles feeling in your arms hands or feet. And check with the medical tent when you 1st arrive, I can't speak for all of them but our events try to give some space that will help you remain unseen by the children while you hydrate or eat something to keep your sugar levels where they need to be. Like I always tell anyone who refuses to break character because kids are around, "what do you think is more traumatic to that little one, seeing you take part or all of your character off or watching you being wheeled out to a waiting ambulance while an EMT carries your head in their hands? Exactly We're a very welcoming & inclusive community. We have to look out for eachother even if that sometimes means a child will see us break character. We aren't Disney, it's OK to not be OK sometimes.
As a former costumer for The Grinch, Little Shop of Horrors and the Lion in Wizard of Oz, let me tell you these costumes stink! People swear a lot! I couldn’t get the smells off so we built new costumes every week 🎉
A fursuit is just a part of the community its not all about them yeah it is nice to have one i did at one point but a convention roommate that was a childhood friend stole it and tried to sell it on a auction site so the only time i take it off is when i’m holding onto it and never letting it out of my site cause fursuit theft is a real thing that happens
It appears you didn't watch it. I mean just watching into about 5 minutes of it it just means different things for people. Some is a just an expression of art while others help people come out of their shell and have fun with others in the community. No different than other communities and hobbies mind you. In all it's just people who enjoy anthromorphic and talking animals as is. As quoted, no different than cosplaying as a favorite character.
@@PrincessofKeys Just ignore them. They are only HELPING This video get recommended to MORE people because they commented on it. They Helped furries without even realizing it. 😌
