    Thanks for posting these. I grew up and lived in Philadelphia from 1976 to 1995. I miss alot of these stations. I'm sure alot of the formats have changed since then. I miss the 80s and 90s, growing up at that time; they were great times to turn the radio on. ☺

      I grew up in Philly too, and not one commercial from WDAS? No Power 99? They were Philadelphia staples. Why aren't those commercials shown?

    When was the WISH spot (at the very beginning)? I know for many years it was WFIL, one of the premier Top 40s. It even went country for a couple in September '81. That lasted about a couple years.

    I love when Howard Stern's syndicated show debuted on WYSP, and his show dethroned the once mighty Joe DeBella on WMMR.

      We lost some individuality when he took over. I remember Debella did some prank regarding large block of ice placed in Rittenhouse Square. It felt like community.

    An AM station in stereo in the 80s? Our AM station in Indianapolis isn't even in stereo and its 2019
