I agree. As a father, it made me question my vulnerability with my children. For Issac to trust Abraham that much, there had to be a level of intimacy that they shared. It also made me think about my prayer and worship life. Do they see enough to want to join me, no questions asked? It definitely challenged me as a father, to know that they are His children and I'm simply a steward.

I started this message out of obligation on Monday but couldn’t finish as I couldn’t understand, my hard heart was blocking my ears. I had turned my back on a promise God made to me and felt like I hadn’t been hearing from him since.
This morning I woke up and heard a message from Joyce Meyer where she said that God will give me back double blessings on all the heartache I’ve gone through, it jumped out at me.
Later in the day I checked my verse of the day, it wasn’t special but I decided to read the context it was said in and God gave me MY verse of the day Isaiah 40:10- Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her
that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the Lord’s hand, double for all her sins.
In the afternoon my promise was shown to me again, and tonight as I’m washing the dishes the lord instructs me to finish this sermon and confirms to me for the THIRD TIME that my double portion is on the way.
Thank you father. This has been one of the hardest years of my life but I have and will continue to trust you!

Before this semester began, I prayed to God for help with this documentary I'm making. Ever since I started, I've been experiencing difficulties: camera equipment not working, language barriers, busy with school work, lack of experience, etc. I even had the thought of not continuing the documentary anymore. But this sermon really spoke to me. Even though I'm not sure how this is going to work out, I'm going to keep praying and put my faith into action. I'll be back in a few months and update y'all on how everything goes :)

I have been following this church for almost 2 years now shortly after the same time I gave my life back to Jesus Christ. God has spoken to me SO MANY times thru these sermons but this series in particular IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEED for the season of my life that I am in! I want to please God in EVERY AREA of my life and Crazy Faith has opened up my eyes to be able to do so instead of just saying "I have faith". This message was EVERYTHING I needed to hear today. Wow this series jus continue to bless my life. This morning still a bit confused as still no job but God is on the case as I woke so hes not done!!. I'm taken the test and praying that I passed. ANCHORED FAITH.. is what the lord dropped in my spirit. An anchor is a heavy object used to hold things down.. I use the what the word of God says to stay anchored in my faith. Let the word of our Heavenly Father keep your faith grounded in the him! Let not your heart be troubled nor swayed. Test and trails come but the word of God will keep you. Keep his word in the tablets of your hearts. Hebrews 13:5 never will I leave you nor forsake you

Wow....the faith that is required to pass such a test as to hurt myself, kill or harm either of my daughters or ANY of my loved ones is unimaginable. I'm a be real... I'm not there yet.
