@@ThatMateoGuy it's just cruise control for the train. Left Ctrl+C to turn it on and the same thing to turn it off. As long as the notch you're in can do the speed you set, it'll maintain it, but you can overspeed on downhill grades.
Streeter roughly parallels the Alhambra Sub. If Run8 completes the tracks then UP has another route to LA as shown by you. Lots of Industries in the "missing' area.
It's a shame that this game exists without much fanfare around it. I'd love to see it on steam, they'd make more money & get to the game to potentially many more people even with steam's cut, they'll make money that they wouldn't make hiding on their site. I do wonder how many people actually know about this & play this game. Seem's like a real simulator than the hot garbage Dove tail releases.
God watching run8 videos makes me more anxious to get a new PC to run Run v3
Run8 is worth it!
Gotta use that slow speed control setting with left Ctrl+C so don't have to fight with the train the whole trip to stay at the speed limit.
Yeah I've heard of that, just don't know how it works.

@@driftspecs13 Good to know, thanks

Gotta watch that slack-action, that's why it broke ;) And as far as I know, it's POR-fer-ree, but I could be wrong.
Yeah, I have to be careful. And Por-fer-ree sounds right
Check out Diatant signal. Danny harmon has a couple of videos on how CSX marks their trains... and it's going to or has recently changed.
How do we get access to the run 8 server?
Join my Discord, and request to join the Run8 server. discord.com/invite/gB2jHxS
