Your videos are really great and helpful, I really don´t know how you don´t have a lot more subscribers. Just a question I have is when wanting to expand from learning 1 language to 2, at what point is good to start learning another language and how should you upkeep/continue the other language?
Thank you so much Dylan! I really appreciate that 😃 If you think it'd be useful to someone else who's learning a language feel free to share. To answer your question, I like to get to a solid intermediate level before learning another one. The other advantage is once you're at an intermediate level, it's easier to work it into your day (I'd rec at a specific time). I'm happy to talk about that in more detail though in a future video!
P.S. Hey hey, in case you missed it- just released a video talking about just that! (when to learn a second language, tips to not mix up languages etc.) Check it out! ruclips.net/video/Niv5xz7bVsk/видео.html
When I began learning Spanish a few months ago I searched this topic. I was surprised by the number of videos and channels claiming wildly short timelines. Yours is not the only video describing a realistic path and timeline, but the way you present the stages with examples is one of the more grounding video I've seen. I hope others beginning their language learning journey find your channel early in their search. Thank you for sharing!
De nada, I'm so glad you found the video useful! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and yayyy go you! Hope you feel proud of that day 40 so far. Happy language learning! 😃
Nice video! This is kinda off topic but I’m using Pimsleur for Norwegian and there are only two courses. Any recommendations for what I should do once I’m done with Norwegian?
Thanks, appreciate it! 😄 Hehe a little different. I'm not sure about Norwegian specifically. Stay tuned since I'll talk about this more in the future, but with languages in general after getting a base knowledge I love... RUclips! See if you can find some channels in Norwegian on RUclips to keep your learning going 👌
