Arroz, I know this is over a year old, but I think this is the most touching video of a mother and infant. I love the way Dolly put her body between the drop off and Spocky to allow him to learn. This is so different from all the rest. Thank you for giving me a peaceful few minutes of good news.
Dolly is such an amazing mom. I am so enjoying watching her interaction with Spocky as he learns to walk and navigate his world. Thank you for the gift of being able to witness this Arroz.
I love the monkeys from this region where Arroz Marisco take videos- There is such a great difference from this group of monkeys that stay in family groups and help one another - compared to those in Cambodia that seem to be few and far between close-knit - and lousy mothers with their babies. I find "peace and tranquility" in these videos and show the affections of those moms with their babies - there may be a few not crazy about parenting but thank God they have relatives like sisters, aunts or others that can come to help out. That is what's family about. Thank you Arroz Marisco for your lovely videos.

Okay, so... Whenever something super duper extra cute happens on one of the baby monkey videos, I try to capture a bit of the cuteness with a screenshot and later, I'll sometimes use these screenshots as backgrounds for my phone or laptop or sometimes just as something cute to look at when I need something to make me smile :-) . At this moment, I'm exactly 2 minutes and 12 seconds into the video and I just took my 13th screenshot lol... on the downside, I can see this taking me awhile to watch all the way through at the rate I'm going, but on the plus side, I've got a huge load of cuteness to fuel the rest of my days haha. In other words, great video, Arroz!

I really can't say for sure - I don't see enough of the few hundred of LTMs in Monkey Hill to comment except they do seem to get obese easily like their peers elsewhere living in /near urban area. The senseless feeding and the consequent over-breeding in such a small forest area I think play a major part in their sickening behaviour in Angkor.

The guys in your area (and I don't mean to sound like a know it all because I know very little) but anyway, the guys in your area seem to be more at ease with their environment, not nearly as stressed. Hi Suzanne :) so pleased to have you and kkossor as two of my best ladies and friends. Sorry to hear she had her account hacked too. Damn ppl just can't find anything better to do than cause grief to others. First thing she needs to do is contact You Tube of such. There isn't any easy way of correcting the problem. I just refused to give up my account and kept right on posting. Someone tipped me off to a poster to appeared to be posting as me, so there I had a name I could report and the account, I believe was closed. I also made it public my account had been hacked so ppl would be aware should crazy shit happen. I still don't have full control for whatever reason. I'm surprised your reply showed up for me to read and grateful. Many replies don't, and I might see them weeks later. Does she know who hacked her?

So, as I mentioned in my other comment, I'm loving this video, but I noticed at 10:57 you say "anyway, now Spocky's safe to practise her baby walk :)" and I'm guessing it was just an oversight/typo, but I believe you intended to say "...his baby walk..." instead of "her". Not that it's a big deal or anything (I mean it's hard to miss his "fifth leg" lol) and most of us know what you meant, but I just figured I'd give you a heads up. Thanks for sharing the video :-)
I have noticed that Arroz has made this mistake on many other occasions. It seems that he doesn't understand that when he needs a pronoun to refer to the noun it replaces, he must make the gender agree. Maybe it's confusing because English is not his first language.
I've managed to touch a baby ( Baty many months ago ) once when mum wasn't looking but in general you can't for they will bite and attack if you do so !
I love to see the babies where they belong. In their mothers arms. It's very upsetting to see babies this tiny dressed in clothes and made to walk around and perform for food. People get them this tiny to use as pets, and then post videos and make money off of them. Once they are too big to be cute they are discarded and a new, days old rhesus baby is bought. It's really sickening. Thank you for a video of a baby rhesus where it belongs. Clinging to its mother or a tree.
Arroz how do they catch the females for sterilization. And the female babies now will they end up sterilized when they get of age and also what is the age. Do they sterilize the males also.
