@@thefrost25 First of all, Luka and Trae are good, Shai is solid but still working to get to the next level, Sexton is good on a bad team, Ayton is solid but let's not hype him. Jaren Jackson is good but once again, on a fringe playoff team, Porter Jr honestly shouldn't have been mentioned at all. This class seems to have some more depth, and the 2018 class cannot compare to 04 or 84, let alone the 96 class. I mean the 96 class had the 2nd greatest player of all time, a revolutionary point guard, a top 3 shooter of all time one of the best ball handlers of all time and a very impactful player on basketball culture as a whole, One of the best defenders of all time, a revolutionary big man, and a bunch of other solid players.

Cade's impressed me a lot over the season and gotten more confident as time goes on. He'd be my #1 pick right now. I love Jalen Suggs though - he could lead them to a title because their team is stacked. But honestly, I haven't seen this much top end talent in years - I think you'd be happy if you're in the top 5 as a GM for this draft.

Holy shit if killian Hayes comes out next season and his shots start falling more that backcourt could potentially be one of the best play making backcourts in the whole nba. Killian is a beast passing the rock and Cade has the potential as well even though his assist numbers weren’t great. They are both good defensively and killian was a plus on defensive side of ball in rookie season. I see big things coming to pistons with Cade, killian, and youngsters bey, Stewart, and even lee as a solid 3rd PG.

Am I the only one to think that Cade isn't athletic at all and will initially struggle in the NBA? I know, I am sticking my neck out with this.. but to my eye he isn't explosive or playing above the rim to justify all those Grand Hill comps. I think his IQ, court vision, anticipation, defense, confidence - all very high and he will be a star. But if people think he will hit the ground running in the NBA like Luka or Hill, I think they will be disappointed. I think he is more like RJ Barrett. He will be a star, but unlike Zion or Ja who just riding their athleticism, he needs a few years to develop all those skills needed to score. Same for Cade.

Simmons and matisse are way too important for that team to reach those expectations too go a head and trade them for a rookie (even though he is a def 1st pick talent). You can't risk if you are the Sixers to go ahead with this trade and hope Cade wills you as probably the second best player on the team to the Conf. finals/finals. Sixers been tanking and developing high lottery picks for now almost 5 years, they can't wait till Cade develops to then go for a ship, and the chances that a rookie comes in the league and leads ur team to those expectations is very very rare. ( have to go back to magic who lead with Kareem the lakers to a ship, Kareem who is a top 5 all time player)
