Justin, I'm not sure what did the world do to deserve you. In any case, I'm grateful. I'm especially loving the fact that you are coming back to the old lessons and even shooting new videos. I'm wishing you well.
Many thanks for the super thanks and supporting the channel. It means a lot. Cheers 😊 | Richard_close2u | JustinGuitar Official Guide & Approved Teacher www.justinguitar.com
Honestly! You are such a great guy Justin! For the fact you do what you do and share all as nearly 100% free is just unbelievable! You should earn all the best in this world! If I would win the lottery i would share it with you just because you deserved it for your service you give the Guitar world here!!! You inspired me in so many ways, and I'll order your guitar guide for beginners book as well tomorrow! I feel so comfortable learning from YOU! I wish you just the best Justin!! Greets from Germany
I hope you get all that you wished for by producing all these inspiring, accessible and highly intelligent lessons. There are many teachers of many subjects who could learn alot from seeing what you have created. Thanks.
I started learning guitar after accidentally watching one of Justin’s lessons on RUclips, I’d never pick up a instrument until I’d seen his stile of teaching went out and bought a secondhand guitar and have started to play thank Justin ✌️
Over just the past several weeks I've been trying to get back into not just playing guitar but actually LEARNING to play the guitar again after a couple decades plus of not doing much other than putts. Amazing how much you regress and forget when yur not engulfed in it for long periods. I stumbled apon a couple of RUclips guitar teachers that really blew me away. JustinGuitar and MusicTheoryForGuitar. Both have been totally "instrumental" 😆 in their own ways at getting me grounded again and then pointing me in a direction of improvement!!! I've played for quite some time but it has taken the right instructor to break through my faults which have limited my ability. I'm really trying to play blue lead. And improvising lead of any sort has been forever out of my grasp... I can learn a lead part.. but to improvise??? FORGET IT! LOL! With some of your videos in scales and some of MTFG on learning to remember instantly where the notes are on the guitar so you can hit them and at the right times.. alot of this last part was Justin!. I'm playing blues parts like I've never played before! It's very simple.. but its improvised! So it's such a liberating feel! .. like breaking out! Alot of it too like Justin says is you need to listen to the blues if you want to play it! I need to go back through arpeggios with Justin. And learning and memorizing which notes make up each chords. I believe this is huge when expanding yur versatility in playing lead. Especially improvising
Great story. Thanks so much and give yourself credit for doing the do. Cheers 😊 | Richard - close2u | JustinGuitar Official Guide & Moderator [ www.justinguitar.com/
I actually have been practicing this scale for about 2 or three days now and that alternate finger patter seems like it would help alot.. im okay at going slow but the faster I seem to go the smoother it feels? Idk but great video again!
GREAT lesson as usual Sir. Too bad the pleasure of watching it is ruined by so many ads from RUclips! Hope you can do something about it in the future. Lovely lesson content :)
Hi Justin.. I enjoy your vids.. Only after this blues one. Where to next? What's the follow on vid.. Pity you ot put numbers of so people can find them... Hope I've not said somethink out of place.. 8 do enjoy your stuff regards. Stan..
hello justin, i just started learning guitar, i really want to play electric guitar, but a lot of people tell me that i should be good at acoustic first, should i keep practicing with my acoustic or just buy electric guitar and practicing with it.
It's completely the same. Same guitar, but electric and waaaaaaay more sounds and so on....however, I had the same question and everyone told me it doesn't matter. And it doesn't.
Thanks so much Justin! Funny thing happened last night at an open mic....although I'm still a beginner guitarist at 2 1/2 yrs in...just entering Intermediate stage... The other 4 performers turned the stage over to me for most of the night...lol...They joined me on occasion, and at the END of the night, they all were smiles and full of excitement in having had such a wonderful time playing! The drummer was SO off beat, and jamming away...oblivious. .lol....the lead guitar, while decent enough was playing thrash metal to my Merle Haggard, whilst the other simply strummed D chords to my F#m...🤣 We sounded like shit! 😝 But the kids playing thought they were the next Pearl Jam...couldnt help but love them for it...🤣🤣🤣 Thanks Justin, for everything!
Hey..Just in case you see this or anyone else sees it...i just wanna say that im actually scared of pulling the strings like u said in the video..... what if my strings get cut
I hope you continued to practice and have tuff fingers by now and know things like; tone, tone, semitone, tone, tone, tone, semitone, and that # 9 strings are not just for cutting cheese.
Boom. I've always struggled with fingers. My instructor stresses using my pinky but I feel more comfortable using my 3rd. So... F**K my instructor I'm doing me. Lbvs.

@@justinguitar thank you Justin Guitar!
Thank you for your guitar classes.
Amazing how one video explains so well how to bend strings on the first two strings using the third finger.
Justin! I love your lessons! I have been using your website for a while now you are awesome! I recommend you to everyone !
I try to run off and let others teach me too but Justin is just Da Man. He just makes sense.
Thanks, great video!

Wow my ear is getting better, I just heard the first few notes of Heartbreaker by Led Zeppelin in this scale.
🎼You rock Justin. Thanks so much for your amazing work!!!🎵🎶
Great tip about the third finger at the end of the scale 👍

Thanks Justin, nice and simple explanation. 👍🇦🇺
I loved this! I already learned how this. So what video should I watch next?
Thanks for sharing
Great lesson
In playing it down the neck would the other pentatonic scales be the same pattern? As in the dots on the reference picture???
I actually have been practicing this scale for about 2 or three days now and that alternate finger patter seems like it would help alot.. im okay at going slow but the faster I seem to go the smoother it feels? Idk but great video again!

Classic lesson
Hi Justin. Don’t know if you'll get to read this, but any chance of tab for that cool riff you played @ 6.25 into the video,? Awesome lessons dude 👍
Which lesson from the website does this video fit into?
Thanks again…
Been adding these to my practice repertoire and love how it's helped my picking!!!

Если повернуть картинку на 90 в право, то станет логично и понятно.

It's completely the same. Same guitar, but electric and waaaaaaay more sounds and so on....however, I had the same question and everyone told me it doesn't matter. And it doesn't.
But I would recommend you an electric
In my opinion, it's more fun...depends on what you want to play
Ben Kaiser thankyou for replying bro, currently still learning on acoustic maybe gonna buy electric after i can smoothly change between chrod lol
Ben Kaiser oh and btw do you have any recommendations for beginner electric guitar ? i have budget around $200
This special effect don't work on my Acoustic guitar Justin. Why?
Justin, why are the certain dots red an the rest black?
I believe the red is to indicate that's where the scale begins.
Need more video
nice
The well by Markus King 👑. Any danger of a lesson ????
Thanks so much Justin!

Cool
"the first finger in the fifth fret of the thickest string" is a helluva tongue twister.
Hi, your website videos seem to be down...can't watch any one of them...just letting you know.
Norm McDonald's twin. Holy !!!!
Isn't this the 3rd scale you have listed as the first to learn?
One hard solution would be using your pinky to bend.
“The guitar is a miniature orchestra in itself.”
― Ludwig van Beethoven
Boom. I've always struggled with fingers. My instructor stresses using my pinky but I feel more comfortable using my 3rd.
So... F**K my instructor
I'm doing me. Lbvs.
I like blue cheese
