Ok, Hunter is the luckiest child in the world. I’m 64 and jealous. Been to Lucerne 20 summers in a row on our elite high school music ensemble trip. Always looked forward to getting there. We often stayed nearby in Engleberg. Surrounded by alps and the most beautiful church. I cannot describe the emotions of conducting an outstanding group of musicians in an outdoor setting and turning around to acknowledge the applause with the mountains and waterfalls in the background. I’m still available for adoption, low maintenance, excellent with children, music teacher. Just saying. 😁

I've absolutely loved this series. I passed through Switzerland many years ago, and walked along that centuries old wooden bridge. It was so nice to see it again and relive my memories of that stunningly beautiful country. I am determined after watching this series to return, sooner rather than later, I hope. Brilliant filming as always. My heart was in my mouth when Jess was on that swing thing, hurtling fast towards Hunter wandering into the path of it. You cut the film there. I hope it didn't hit her.
We stayed at that exact same AirBnB in Lucerne and absolutely loved it. The owners live next door and are both retired architects. They have done a beautiful job restoring the cottage and it remains one of our favourite Airbnb places we have stayed in around the world. I was thrilled to see Jess standing in front of it and recognised it immediately. Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Is the friendly pooch still there to welcome everyone?
I swear the views are so breathtaking! It makes you want to take up yodelling, or burst into song singing, The Hills Are Alive With The Sound Of Music! Love the fresh self serve food in the fridge, especially the cheese triangle! Switzerland looks like a stunning place to visit! Always wanted to visit Switzerland and the alps!Must make an effort to visit, you just made up my mind for me!

Stayed in Murren last year. The whole Youngfrau region is absolutely stunning. Like you found out, almost everywhere has a playground. Swiss do it right. Easily one of the top 3 beautiful places on earth (that I’ve personally experienced). You 3 are great together, and the whole series you’ve been doing is OUTSTANDING

Yes this area is famous for skiing. In Wengen you‘ll find the famous ski world cup Lauberhorn downhill. If you take the train to Jungfraujoch, you can see it from the train!
I recognize every single one of these places! Over two different trips, but I I went to most of the stops you've been to. Grindelwald is gorgeous, another time you should continue up from Mürren and go to the Schilthorn. THere's no playground but it's 2970m and the view is spectacular (unless you want to go higher and go to Jungfraujoch, but that tends to be busy). I did Pilatus in 2018 and remember that fun tobogan! Love seeing it again.
Your family is so very sweet. Enjoy every minute with Hunter being so active, inquisitive and loving, I hope that never changes for you all. Your trip is so wonderful thank you for showing us all the different villages around Switzerland definitely a place we will be travelling to in the future. But we will be travelling as empty nesters so no little ones for us and perhaps not so active neither - my stomach would squirm with the activities that Steve does, lol

hi there, the "river" cruise is actually a lake cruise on lake lucerne or in german vierwaldstättersee, it has lake arms. ;-) the round building is a hotel and contains a self service restaurant which is open during the day. the other building on the other side the long one kulm is also a hotel with the more expensive rooms and a la cart restaurant, which serves the dinner when you stay over night. and yes the sunsets and sunrises are amazing. I was working as a chef two summers up there and back in 2011, we as employes had to stay overnight once or twice a week up there to cook dinner and prepare breakfast. and on the way to making breadfast I was able to catch sunrise, that was amazing. lots of love, wish you all the best
I was watching you earlier when this adorable baby wasn't there. I see that a new tourist has arrived. Switzerland has wonderful mountain landscapes. You showed nicely and informatively how to travel with a small child, but it is possible. In another vlog, someone informed that if someone has a hard time staying at high altitudes, tourists drink a lot of Coca-Cola - supposedly it helps the body adapt to these altitudes.😄
I loved this video, new subscriber here from Manila, Philippines! We were just in Switzerland last May and got to experience this beautiful country. We went to Lucerne, Zurich, Bern, Lauterbrunnen, Zermatt and Interlaken. Unfortunately, because of the rain and thunder that day we didn't get a chance to go to Grindelwald so will definitely have to come back and go there next time. This video definitely inspired me to go visit Switzerland again and go to the placed we missed last time.

Mountain carts!!! That looks so fun. I wonder if anyone here in Utah has them yet! We have epic ziplines already, but dang, those carts look like a ton of fun. What a gorgeous place to visit! It's fun to see different options for hotels and hostels.
OMG, you stayed in the same AirBnb in Lucerne as us, very ingenious design for bathroom/kitchen. My daughter & I stayed there a week and loved it! Isn't Gimmewald amazing? We found an elderly lady "tatting" and I bought some tiny bookmarks from her, so special!!! Grindewald & Lauterbrunnen are also favorites as well, loved Paragliding with AirTime from Mürren and ziplining at First. Hunter will have quite the mileage under her tiny belt after all these trips. Thank you for the great reminder of how much fun we had on our trips there.

I loved this video, new subscriber here from Manila, Philippines! We were just in Switzerland last May and got to experience this beautiful country. We went to Lucerne, Zurich, Bern, Lauterbrunnen, Zermatt and Interlaken. Unfortunately, because of the rain and thunder that day we didn't get a chance to go to Grindelwald so will definitely have to come back and go there next time. This video definitely inspired me to go visit Switzerland again and go to the placed we missed last time.
I'm absolutely loving Grindelwald. What an epic place to use as a base.

Mountain carts!!! That looks so fun. I wonder if anyone here in Utah has them yet! We have epic ziplines already, but dang, those carts look like a ton of fun. What a gorgeous place to visit! It's fun to see different options for hotels and hostels.
OMG, you stayed in the same AirBnb in Lucerne as us, very ingenious design for bathroom/kitchen. My daughter & I stayed there a week and loved it! Isn't Gimmewald amazing? We found an elderly lady "tatting" and I bought some tiny bookmarks from her, so special!!! Grindewald & Lauterbrunnen are also favorites as well, loved Paragliding with AirTime from Mürren and ziplining at First. Hunter will have quite the mileage under her tiny belt after all these trips. Thank you for the great reminder of how much fun we had on our trips there.
