The Tata Altroz is a premium hatchback that was first launched in India in 2019. It has been updated twice since then, most recently in June 2023. The 2023 Altroz gets a few new features and changes to the variant lineup.
Here is a variant-wise review of the 2023 Tata Altroz:
XM Plus: This is the base variant of the Altroz. It comes with features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a reverse parking camera, and power windows. It is powered by a 1.2L petrol engine that produces 86PS of power and 113Nm of torque. It is available with a manual transmission only.
XZ Plus: This variant adds features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, and keyless entry. It is also available with a 1.5L turbo diesel engine that produces 90PS of power and 200Nm of torque. It is available with both manual and automatic transmissions.
XZ Plus S: This is a new variant that was introduced in the June 2023 update. It is based on the XZ Plus variant and adds a single-pane sunroof. It is available with the 1.2L petrol engine only.
XZA Plus: This is the top-of-the-line variant of the Altroz. It gets all the features of the XZ Plus variant, plus a few more like a Harman Kardon sound system, a panoramic sunroof, and LED headlights. It is only available with the 1.2L turbo petrol engine and automatic transmission.
The 2023 Tata Altroz is a good value for money car. It offers a good mix of features, performance, and safety. The XM Plus variant is the most affordable option, but it still comes with a lot of features. The XZ Plus and XZA Plus variants are more expensive, but they offer more features and a better driving experience.

I have altroz xe basic varient petrol bought on Feb 6 2022 and just added a Panasonic music system i take to college everyday drive via highways... Budget corner King .. gives me an efficiency of 20.42 kmpl in highways 80-90 kmph. Very good vehicle, konjam initial pick up kammi but clutch control panna pazhakitta no problem.

1. Service has been really improved i give in TAFE access chennai. Try to build rapport with the service advisor.
2. My professor in my college has Tata Tiago which has completed 1,25,000 kms and is still bringing it to college everyday. Secondly, a person in my apartment has Tata Tiago which is completed 83000 kms and he is renting that car via the zoomcar app.
3. If you change gears below 2000 rpm the city mileage with mild traffic will be 13 to 14 kms per litre. Highway mileage is upto 20 kms per litre as per MID, when i checked tank to tank mileage it came upto 19.47 kms per litre at speeds of 80 to 95 kmph.
4. Service cost comes close to 5000-6000 rs of general service i don't give water wash. After service i wash the car and wax it.
Hope i cleared all your doubts.
Just be gentle and nice to the throttle you won't face any problems. Since it is a 3 cylinder engine it is sensitive to throttle input the more you play with your right leg less the efficiency. I told Tiago as an example because both altroz and Tiago are mechanically the same. Thank you

What made u choose the petrol over diesel
@@parthasarathy5222 initially when i got my licence i didn't plan to take it to college everyday so i had a low running. Plus i chose petrol because it doesn't have any dpf problems faced by diesels. If I took during the bs4 time I would have gone for diesel.
I'm planning to buy a magna for 8.2L or Altroz XM-S for 8.15L
Or Nexon 8.8L base model :( With no features.

5 members dhaaralama polam altroz la. I am getting 21,22 kmph in village. Highway 24kmph. Speed 60 km max and services done every 6 months once. 3 year old car. Best in this segment.

Actually any car should have these four features Fog lamps, Driver seat adjustment, 6 Airbags and finally DEFOGGER/WIPER as ABS is mandatory by law already in every base varient itself, if the company owners are really concerned of their coustomer's.
