      My girlfriend drives this car and one of the headlight connections is terrible so it always goes out randomly. It drives me crazy

      Hi! I think you are talking about the ballast. Luckily, this LED headlight bulb does not require a separate ballast. Everything you need is included in this bulb:

      The high beam LEDs were so easy to install.

      Thanks! No the HIDs shouldn't require a separate ballast.
