Hammerin' on them Peacock Bass-That's the way ya do it! I'm glad that God has people out there that aren't afraid to stand up for him! I like you, Richard Gene Th' Fishin' Machine, Dee Crappie, and Hook City. All four of you stand up for God, and aren't ashamed to declare the whole council of God! All of y'all are Christians, and I'm glad for it! I wouldn't have it any other way! But-Of the four-You're the only one that includes a Bible Verse at the end of just about every video that you put out. Thanks so much for doing that! God bless you and Yours!

This series has made me very homesick for South Florida. I have fished a lot of the same areas. The Everglades is an amazing place. I lived halfway between the Everglades and the ocean so we would have to decide what we wanted to fish for on the weekends. Thank You for sharing John.

  • @TheBadTrad

Born and raised in that area and just moved away (to east TN) 4 years ago, but I go back every year. I’ve fished the same canals and have always had great success there.
You’re right in saying there’s a huge difference in the fishing between SO FL and up here in TN. I was kind of surprised at just how different it is.

One surefire thing that has worked for for me this winter, when it’s not frozen,is a solid silver or gold Kastmaster.Everything bites those.

We've been on an airboat with half that many people in the Everglades. Crazy fun and scary when our guide stopped the boat and fed a 12' gator marshmallows mere feet from me on my side of the boat. This city boy could really have bypassed that part of the ride. I have photos.

They are native to South America. They were introduced here in the US as farm fish. Lot of fish escaped into the wild and have naturalized in the state of Florida. As long as the weather stays warm, they are fine.
