I think the way ghost says “are you threatening us” while standing menacingly in the background is one of the most underrated lines in the game

As a Scottish person myself I found this line a bit unusual in the fact Scottish people are British technically. Even though a lot of us don’t refer to ourselves as Brits, We’re proud Scots and but some of us are proud to be British too. It’s the biggest political divide in Scotland. Unionists who embrace being part of the UK and those who seek independence and would be seen dead with a Union Jack flag on them. Plus Scottish people love cups of tea just as much as the English do anyway 😂
If Soap was so adamant he’s not a ‘Brit’ then why does he run around the world with a Union Jack flag on his chest? It’s a bit confusing that line really I feel it was written by an American. It’s like an English or Welsh person saying ‘bloody brits’ but you are one too lol

I love how ghost was basically comforting soap and keeping him company and calm bc he knew the situation soap was in, keeping his head in a light place

it felt like uncharted with the amount of back and forth between them, it really helped balance out the depressing atmosphere of the mission
It’s so crazy that these are animated scenes and not live action. Some insanely well done visuals in this game.
lot of it isnt exactly animated most of it is mocap (motion capture) where someone wears a suit with little white dots on it then does the stuff irl then its polished and ported into the game
@@Arctic0804 but hell, the depth of the characters is well doned, literally spot on with the job of making the actor as cod characters, it what makes the biggest illusion much like 2019 cuts, it felt absurdly real but mw2 its crank the workforce to 10 million. So yes its not animated but every texture is well hope to be sprayed

@@Arctic0804 It is still mostly hand animated(mocap is techinically also a type of animation as animators will give direction to the actors). Mocap gives general movements, but animators clean it up and give it style and beauty. All of the details are done by animators, not mocap actors.

Im a Soap fanboy, but 2:05 Ghost's presence is fucking terrifying. Imagine threatening that. Like wtf are you doing? Just standing in the shadows and the rain, looking like the literal Grim Reaper. I guess mad credit to Graves for having big ol balls. Man, they really made everyone too damn likeable this time around. Fleshing out Shadow Co was a great call tho.

Same here. They say that the eyes are a portal to someone’s heart… (something along those lines. ) Eyes can tell you quite a bit sometimes. Since the only thing he shows is his eyes, I try to study that and I feel I’m not the only one who’s dying to know ghost’s face but at the same time I prefer he keeps his mystery. don’t know if my comment makes sense lol.

I love how most of the time, Ghost stays fairly calm, and while he doesn't seem that thrilled about having to be paired with Soap at first, we get to see that he really does regard Soap as a friend, considering the concern in his eyes after Soap catches that bullet, and he makes sure Soap gets clear first before dipping out himself.
The way Ghost and Soap look at each other during the confrontation with Graves. It’s simple, yet powerful. They know each other so well that they can communicate each other’s thoughts and intentions with a simple glance. “Ready up.”
If you tell Ghost you don't like Tequila, Soap will say it "Tastes like dog piss." He asks Ghost if there's a tactical use for dog piss, to which Ghost replies "Wolf hunting." Great mission banter.

Surprisingly good modernization of the original. It’s a good mix of first mw (2007)’s atmosphere with sort of the original mw2’s action-movie-esque gameplay.
It was a surprise of a sequel, hopefully the 3rd is just as good

I think in this timeline Gaz took Soap's place as the one close with Price and now Soap is more close to Ghost
I agree. I just wished they had one or two more missions with Price and Gaz. Felt very Soap and Ghost heavy this game which is fine and makes sense since they wanna introduce them. But still felt like one or two more missions with them would have done some good. Who knows though, MW3 could be the greatest camp gain because of the way they layered out the two games
