Well, Alice and Laura are definitely a couple of shades lighter than their characters, but they absolutely embody their spirits so clearly. It makes me wonder if some of the idols' personalities are ever somehow inspired by their VAs.

@@aRickyPiace_splatoon My theory is that they have a couple Big Man sound bytes that they recorded when gathering sound effects for the game, and they just manipulate the pitch of the sounds to match the melody of the songs. There wouldn’t be anyone to show since there is no one physically in the booth recording lines as Big Man, and there isn’t any video footage of the voice sfx being made.

The fact that every Splatoon game has been ignored for Best Music at the Game Awards is a crime. Some of the music unique and creative music in video games today. (Although the Game Awards aren't the basis for quality anyway; it's just weird that Splatoon is ignored.)
For real, even for people who don't enjoy the music itself, the sound design and creativity that go into it is just amazing. Whoever composes for Splatoon is definitely one of the best out there

Alice Peralta's voice is so hauntingly beautiful! It's been so inspiring growing up alongside these characters, and i love hearing how their voices have evolved. I love how much energy and passion every one of the voice actor's put into this. I also think that the instrumental musicians are soo underrated. They're all so amazing and talented, and it's so fun to watch them play. Splatoon has so much passion in it.
