Another great video, epic landscape at 2:55. I just love these NW roads and mountains, they took my breath away when I first saw them 50 years ago and still do now. Those wee bikes are certainly clocking up the miles. Thank you Mike.
Lovely video - brought back some memories I can tell you... I did what has now become known as the NC500 in 1980 on a C70 (C70 was magneto in those days, more reliable than a C90 I decided). I used a pair of cycle paniers strapped on the passenger seat and weighted down with my tent. The worst bit was all the miles up the A1 from Kippax at a blistering 45mph flat out.
@@yodagoat I had the advantage that there was no booking required even for hotels or B&Bs, so I never needed to worry about where I would be staying that night... One one occasion I just knocked on the door of a big house and asked if I could camp on their garden - I was immediately invited in for a meal and a free room for the night. Lovely!
Another good one mate....I actually stayed in the Applecross Inn and beforehand I asked if I could get Amazon to deliver some 2 stroke oil. She left it in the Amazon packaging in the foyer to the pub and some female part nicked it!
Seen some footage on Instagram of Yamahas T80s going off road .Looks fun but I’m too old for high jinks. Thanks again for your vids n music, lying here on my sofa having tested positive again(vaccinated 4weeks ago).
I hear what you're saying, but that would have just resulted in folk in a hired campervan witnessing me laying a turd. 😂 I always manage to find a toilet anyway.
It is indeed a huge problem. Unfortunately in Scotland if you're under the speed limit you are deemed safe. Thankfully more and more folk are at least learning how the single track road system works.
Stunning views coming out of achiltibuie! Another good video Mike. Looking forward to the next episode. Anything to avoid a visit from Mikey 😅
Merci Mon ami. Kenny has been watching it too! We should convince him to get a bike.

@@rogerwatkinson6633 it would have been a much longer trip then without the Dornoch and Tain bridges! Glad you enjoyed the video.

Mikey, another great film. Lovey scenery and well edited. What a view of the Sutherland hills from near Achiltibuie. As usual very entertaining.
Thanks Hugh!

Get well soon mate. I've seen the videos! We used to rip around doing similar things around Pencaitland, but that's when C90s and T80s were £10!!
@@yodagoat I remember my Uncle David bought my Dad’s auld rust bucket Standard Ten for a fiver ha ha!.
Great watch that Mikey, hope you managed to drop the kids off at the pool in the end 😂..rsmf, Mark
I'm happy to report there were no accidents this time.
13:00 is why you always carry a small but strong trowel. Always

Do these little c90,s have enough juice to charge a power bank and maybe heated clothing or not ?.
Just bought one an excited to start my travels
They have enough to charge a power bank but you'd need to upgrade the generator for heated gear I think. It's quite a common modification.
@@yodagoat thanks for getting back to me
Loved Mikey's sexy dance! hahaha
Ha ha! I had to tell him where the song was from. 😂
Thoroughly enjoy your videos.Does,nt scotland look great.the only problem in the highlands is folk that can,t drive.
