Revolutions Per Minute it's still an amazing album almost 20 years later.
Damn. I remember celebrating its 10th anniversary sharing this video on Facebook. We're all getting ancient boys.
The album just turned 20 back on the 8th of April. Still good after all these years.
Heck yes!! They got guitar playing skills and drum playing skills and computer hacking skills.
Well that made me feel old... Putting my smile away and back to my day.
Just bought the anniversary edition on Bandcamp last week and cant stop listening to it.

How is their sound just so much better than everyone else...? The only other band with the same talent in a similar genre, in my opinion, is Strung Out. That’s it! It’s a duopoly of mellifluous art.

Many people have tried to blend punk and hardcore like this, but mostly we end up with the weakest bits of hardcore, and the weakest bits of punk, kind of mashed together. Instead, on "Revolutions..." we get an impressive sense of melody with a really visceral hardcore edge."
Rise Against’s RPM and Strung Out’s Exile in Oblivion were two very important albums to me throughout my late teen years. I still love them both. 🤘🏻

@@Ilikecoffeeandmusic same as well as Strung Out's Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues for me the Original 1996 mix version not the 2014 remastered like there's a reason I prefer to listen to the album with my MP3's I ripped from my CD via windows media player rather than on spotify
Wish they did 20 yr tours for their first 4 albums. This one is amazing. And the unraveling is so under appreciated

I remember seeing rise against on a small stage in Salt Lake warped tour. I listen to them before this, but after I saw them I said these guys were gonna get big. Good times.

Maybe it was band member changes or they crumbled to major label pressure to make the next records sound softer,more polished and more marketable
