Love this car. 5/5 star on NCAP safety rating, heard they used advanced alloy for this one. Handles very well in curves; packing a good engine roar and power on Sports mode.
It's bcos of Atkinson cycle engine build for fuel economy more than 20% than a normal otto cycle engine like tucson but minus 10% HP ,that's why tucson is 10% faster

I would like to add the common issue for the kona is its thermistor. however it only cost around 5k in the casa, labor included. This is really a decent car. but not for the full price as stated by the reviewer
Would prefer the looks of stonic over kona. Former is more clean looking for me. Kona gets better performance I think. It just looks like an alien with too many eyes though.
Bat kaya parang napakababa ng resale value nito? Napansin ko lang sa mga car auction/repossessed na nasa 600K +/- lang resale nito for 2-3 year old units.
@@alphabravo9999 All cars have issues. I have seen a Fortuner, Montero, even a Ranger with issues. Unexpected issues can happen due to factory, QA faults, and other external factors. Overall, Kona itself is worth the money, just like any other car. Just make sure to check that its the right car for you to prevent any disappointments.
LIked the video, dislike car. Considering the amount of cost cutting they did with the lack luster interior, they could've at least provided additional features for 1.2M.

Engine roar? Uhh not that much I guess, but yeah pretty good driving dynamics in the curves

Tested one before and i own a 13 tucson gls gas, and have to say it's not as fast as the tucson but it aint far. And it's damn good to drive too.

The shape of the Kona makes it look smaller. But don't let that fool you. it's actually on the wider side.
