@@jeremieyaokangah9586 if Pastoral school is of the devil, then why is God lamenting in Hosea 4:6, Isaiah 5:13 about His people lacking knowledge while they already had the Word with them...? You must be ignorant of the fact that Samuel had a school called the SCHOOL OF THE SONS OF THE PROPHET where young Prophets were trained and received authentic theological knowledge and even knowledge about the mechanisms of the world. You’re a great speaker. Very clear, concise and did not put me to sleep. I’m still not completely 100% clear on what exactly “hermeneutics” is though. I mean,…it’s just the way we interpret something,..like scripture, for example? I’m sorry, your video is great…I’m just slow at grasping some things.🤷🏻♀️ Subscribed because I want to learn more!

Just a note, there are some pretty specific approaches to hermeneutics, some way more valid than others.
Orthodox Christians will use the historical, grammatical plain reading of the text, while secularists will use literary theory or critical theory as a hermeneutical lens.
One of the assertions of the Bible is that all scripture is God breathed and no scripture is simply a human creation which means it has a transcendent quality that can be re-contextualized for all cultures at all times.
I’d love to hear you make a video that points people to the good hermeneutical approach and explains the dangers of removing Gods authorial intent in the lit theory approach.
