Fix D.I.Y mini 2, normal WiFi no cellular, i have a sauntering iron and some normal sauter bond, is there a special ratio you need or what did you use? I tried sauntering but it came out in a big clump and bonded but soon fell apart in a little bit.
Fix D.I.Y I am trying too but I have the metal sauter so it just makes one glob so all the contact points are touching the other ones, are there both positive and negative on that piece?
Adding leaded solder lowers the melting temperature of the lead free solder used by the factory - the mix then heats easier and evenly, making removal and reinstall easier.
What temp is that gun putting out ?
How did you line up the solder pads so easy on the new charge port? Having trouble.
When you check the changing port and iPad motherboard you can see the clear lift, right side round point and then You can overlap the positions.
thank you. helped me out.
Good job sir, please send me the name that device you using for testing

Ethan Radue when you do soldering. you should push down the charging port and exactly match the point.

I really appreciate all the help in the description 🙄. None of us have any idea what products you’re using.

I noticed you solder the top but what did you put on the bottom to make it stick??
jahmel brown hi! charging port cable has small holes first put some flux and then lead. That’s it! Molten lead seeps down.
Fix D.I.Y oh wow! I just noticed that! Thank you!
How do you put back the screen? Is there any glue required to add?

What is the thing you used while soldering?
Jorge Lopez only lead and flux but I use hot air as well.
If you don't know what he's using don't diy lol
Good work, but why while you disconnect it you add lead? Also how do you troubleshoot the power problem?
I took off motherboard form housing and battery. No power problem normally I using a power supply and power detector.

Debt Miner thank you.
