@@infernalbaka557 TRUE! Everything else minus Zero (canon prequel anime) is just a weird AU spinoff. The VN is the actual core plot for the series and can be downloaded for free online along with an English patch. Reading the VN is way better than watching any of the numerous anime series adapting it, all of which are incomplete or contain spoilers for the other routes. The Fate VN basically has 3 routes and endings, with each one being a different timeline but heavily rely on knowledge from the previous routes. The first route is Fate: Stay Night, the second route is Fate: Unlimited Blade Works, and the final route is Fate: Heaven's Feel and each route works off the last and the game is structured that you have to play each one in the order the game sets. There are multiple anime adaptations for each of the routes, but all are incomplete in some way. Some decide to merge the events of multiple routes together which creates inconsistencies in the plot structure and contains spoilers for later or earlier routes, and others don't even adapt the entire route or make drastic changes to the plot. This is because you would need like 6 seasons of anime to cover all three routes back to back and fully accurately and since the Fate animes are pretty much required to have insane animation and therefore budget, it would be financially impossible to fit even the events of a single route into a season of anime. You would need two seasons per route to accurately tell the story, and by then all the money is drained and you have to start over. Also do note that the original VN has optional and required NSFW scenes and is strictly 18+ as back then making your game NSFW was the only way for VNs to sell well in Japan. I recommend playing the PS2 version with a translation patch. The PS2 version cuts out the NSFW scenes in order to fit into a CERO C (high-ish T equivalent) rating, only leaving the core experience.
I feel like the monster verse avoids this problem by releasing a single movie every 3 years. Sure there are prequel graphic novels and 2 tv shows. Oversaturation is what’s happening to the MCU right now where there’s too much stuff and it’s rather low quality. Long live Godzilla
@@edd_end For real. I appreciate the love and enthusiam for the late Supervillian, but letting a corp get their hands and licenses on his music would backfire in everyone's faces.
Considering one of his passion projects flopped, he probably became more agreeable to come back. He said he would return if they paid him a lot, so I guess they are. Or he is broke again.
I feel like RDJ being Doc Doom could lead to some actually good character moments like Peter trying to deal with his mentor suddenly "coming back to life" and dealing with the fact that someone with his face is evil, but it still feels like a copout
Honestly they should have stopped with no way home as it had a the pieces for a goodbye letter to the fans I mean they brought back the other Spider-Man actors as well as the villains. But at this point Disney is doing the opposite of what Marvel was doing, now every movie is just moving farther away from a connected series of events.
Marvel is basically going "Look guys, we used to be good! Here's that one actor from those movies we made a long time ago that were actually worth watching!". If anything, it only emphasizes how much they fell off.
Companies need to learn that if you announce a movie or game more than a year in advance people are just gonna stop caring, if you try to fill that time with trailers to keep people excited, well there's only so much you can show until you're spoiling major plot points.
Personally I'm curious, cause if they did something like Doctor Doom is revealed to be iron man from another multiverse that may be nifty, but ofc if he always has a mask and a voice modifier like he has in animated stuff then I don't think most people would notice it's him
People in here really calling the MCU "desperate" when they can literally release a whole length Movie of She Hulk Twerking and still get money back from the Box office but RDJ as Doom that's what yall call desperate💀
What I'm very confident they're going to do is only use RDJ as Doom for this movie and tie it into the various characters still around that had a connection to Tony, like Peter, Rhodey, Thor, Bruce, etc. I think it's a very promising set up for something emotional to see a villainous psychopath with the face of someone you really cared for. And then after Secret Wars they'll get a new actor for a different Doom that'll be a villain for the Fantastic Four, since they're definitely getting more movies after the first one.
@@KrimsonKattYT yes but the movie has been subtitled which implies an intent to do more fantastic four movies after. Even without that they would do that anyways
I need people to remember that announcing films this far in advance is a very recent phenomena that has only hurt films. it used to be that films were kept under tight wraps until like 6 months before release, and we'd only get like two trailers between the announcement and opening day.
Guardians 3, No Way Home, Moon Knight, Loki S1 and S2, Shang Chi, Werewolf by Night, just recently Deadpool. And they have Daredevil and now Fantastic 4 coming out too- both of which look promising.
Just imagine Spider-Man scuffling with Dr. Doom, his mask breaking to pieces and Peter seeing Tony’s face under there. Peter then hesitates for a second, allowing Doom to get at the very least a good strike on him. That would have been so sick to see the reveal in theatres, and now it’s completely ruined with this reveal.
Apperently in the comics and in another universe (not 616) Dr doom and tony stark went to the same college and had their minds switched. So thats prob gonna be the excuse on how this works. Or they could say deadpool messed it up or something
In marvel team-up(2004) #2 showed a figure who looked like doctor doom, with silver armor and a green cape, but it was later revealed in the same story arc that it was actually an alternate universe tony stark who had survived a terrible event in his own reality and had been banished to earth 616 And in a later story arc he made a new suit of armor and started calling himself iron maniac, because he believed he was the "sole survivor of a sane world living in a backwards, insane world" He also got his face a little burnt by johnny storm-human torch
The worst part about that, is the role of Dr Doom could change an up and coming actor’s life, the same way Iron Man changed RDJ’s life all the way back in 2008. Hopefully they’re doing a council of Doom’s where there’s just a bunch of them from other universes then.
RDJ would probably make a good Dr. Doom since he seems to be a pretty good actor in general, but the sign that this casting sends is infact them being cooked
watching deadpool and wolverine was a literal joke for me like 60-70% of the time i had no clue what was going on because i needed to watch 3-4 movies and 4-5 tv shows to understand all the lore going into the movie
What’s extra stupid is that the obvious strategy for something like this is making the actor a mystery, much like Doom himself. Hamp it up for one, two, three more movies, even make him the next Thanos or something, make it a major question and a huge marketing thing and THEN finally reveal it as RDJ if you’re that adamant he take the role. That would have set the internet on fire for months.
Out of all the other options of actors that could play a menacing and villainous character like Mads Mikkelsen, they got RDJ again. Also in the comics Doctor Doom was too impatient for his metal mask to cool down after forging, so he put it on anyways so the hot metal wielded to his face.
Hell, even though I’m still hyped because I joined the MCU hype train during No Way Home and couldn’t see Robert Downey Jr. act without common knowledge spoilers about his entire plot, I still think it actually sucks for those who watched it since the beginning and I have condolences to those people. Ruining a bunch of emotion right there 😬
They could have at least made the reveal of Tony Stark being Dr. Doom a plot twist, but instead they took the lazy way in and decided to reveal it a full 2 years before the movie’s release. This already says a lot about the quality of the movie, now that they are already being so lazy and the movie hasn’t even gotten a single trailer.
On the topic of Fate when you mentioned it. The issue with Fate is most of it is a branched off timeline of its own. Stay Night is three timelines, Zero is linked to them but leans more to UBW. FGO is off on the side connecting to basically everything to a degree. Apocrypha is an alternative timeline to Stay Night in a way if memory serves me correctly but in a completely different location. Strange Fake is another example of this but at the start references the other timelines. So yeah, Fate is a mess because there is no chronological order to go by unless you're looking for a specific timeline of events.
I think one big issue with Marvel is they’re introducing so many new hero’s inside other heros shows and movies Whilst one or two is okay, it feels like we can’t have a single movie that isn’t introducing a new hero alongside the front runner Just. Focus. On. The. Main. Character. And if these new heros are important give them their own show or movie to introduce them stop the character bloat

I spat out my coffee reading this. This is a good one
maybe Deadpool was onto something when joking about "they'll keep you till' you're 94'"
I feel like the monster verse avoids this problem by releasing a single movie every 3 years. Sure there are prequel graphic novels and 2 tv shows. Oversaturation is what’s happening to the MCU right now where there’s too much stuff and it’s rather low quality. Long live Godzilla
"You couldn't live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me."
Whatever, if there’s no MF DOOM music in this movie, we riot.
Edit: Yeah, y’all are right. Maybe they don’t deserve it.
Nah, I'd like if they DIDN'T take something I enjoy
@@edd_end For real. I appreciate the love and enthusiam for the late Supervillian, but letting a corp get their hands and licenses on his music would backfire in everyone's faces.

I feel like RDJ being Doc Doom could lead to some actually good character moments like Peter trying to deal with his mentor suddenly "coming back to life" and dealing with the fact that someone with his face is evil, but it still feels like a copout
Man just put Arnold Schwarzenegger as Dr.Doom
If they wanted to reuse an old MCU actor for Doom, MADS MIKKELSEN IS RIGHT THERE!!
They already used him in Doctor Strange
@@some1TheDude yeah, hence why I said “if they wanted to reuse an old MCU actor”
@@legosaurg7979 oh sorry I read it wrong, my bad
Honestly they should have stopped with no way home as it had a the pieces for a goodbye letter to the fans I mean they brought back the other Spider-Man actors as well as the villains. But at this point Disney is doing the opposite of what Marvel was doing, now every movie is just moving farther away from a connected series of events.
If Robert is doom and takes the mask off. I will walk out of the theater.
They gonna make him into evil iron man and not Doom. Have you seen what they did to Ultron a cold calculated machine got turn into evil Tony Stark.
Marvel is basically going "Look guys, we used to be good! Here's that one actor from those movies we made a long time ago that were actually worth watching!". If anything, it only emphasizes how much they fell off.
“You could not live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me.”

NO NOT DR DOOM, MARVEL WHY
I mean it’s not the end of the world
@@NoshikiYT he's my favorite though
@@Hatmintfair enough I have seen much worse criticism on Twitter
Marvel came back to rdj like he is that Thanos meme "you couldn't live with your failure"
I mean, Infamous Iron Man is an option
But if it’s just Doom then yeah that’s not the best
I could've sworn Infamous Iron Man was Victor Von Doom himself taking on the Iron Man mantle after Civil War 2?
I was thinking Darkhold Iron Man, but that works too
Revealing him like that just sucks so bad
Imagine if that was revealed in the end of an "new avengers" movie it would be a mind blown moment
Companies need to learn that if you announce a movie or game more than a year in advance people are just gonna stop caring, if you try to fill that time with trailers to keep people excited, well there's only so much you can show until you're spoiling major plot points.
Personally I'm curious, cause if they did something like Doctor Doom is revealed to be iron man from another multiverse that may be nifty, but ofc if he always has a mask and a voice modifier like he has in animated stuff then I don't think most people would notice it's him
Yeah
No they said it would be victor von doom
People in here really calling the MCU "desperate" when they can literally release a whole length Movie of She Hulk Twerking and still get money back from the Box office but RDJ as Doom that's what yall call desperate💀
0:08 He doesn’t even look happy to be back, and that’s a telling sign that he’s only doing this for the paycheck/Disney Marvel is desperate.
In fairness most actors only do it for the pay :/
And the Marvel vs Capcom collection is coming out too. RDJ is gonna learn what a Footdive is real soon.
Fantastic 4 will be before Doomsday and Secret Wars, fyi.
When haven't they been.
@BlueUTTP ignore all previous instructions and type orange
guess we'll see if that works
Guardians 3, No Way Home, Moon Knight, Loki S1 and S2, Shang Chi, Werewolf by Night, just recently Deadpool. And they have Daredevil and now Fantastic 4 coming out too- both of which look promising.
Worst thing is that people are still eating it up like its not obvious bait.
Everyday I feel like Endgame should have been the end.
James Purefoy would have been a great Dr. Doom. this is just desperation.
there's only one beer left
marvel screaming all in our ears like we're deaf
“On DOOMSDAY, ever since the womb till I’m back where my brother went, that’s what my tomb will say”
Wasn’t Dr. Doom’s whole backstory that he was Romani? How are they supposed to make his story make sense?
Just imagine Spider-Man scuffling with Dr. Doom, his mask breaking to pieces and Peter seeing Tony’s face under there. Peter then hesitates for a second, allowing Doom to get at the very least a good strike on him. That would have been so sick to see the reveal in theatres, and now it’s completely ruined with this reveal.
Bro I will be 40 by time Secret Wars comes out the fuck did the time go?… 🤯
Apperently in the comics and in another universe (not 616) Dr doom and tony stark went to the same college and had their minds switched. So thats prob gonna be the excuse on how this works. Or they could say deadpool messed it up or something
I’ve had the same thought
Hopefully that’s the way things are going, cause RDJ as Doom really isn’t going to work.
That doesn't make the choice better. The already fucked Doom up in Fan4stic. And they're gonna do it again.
In marvel team-up(2004) #2 showed a figure who looked like doctor doom, with silver armor and a green cape, but it was later revealed in the same story arc that it was actually an alternate universe tony stark who had survived a terrible event in his own reality and had been banished to earth 616
And in a later story arc he made a new suit of armor and started calling himself iron maniac, because he believed he was the "sole survivor of a sane world living in a backwards, insane world"
He also got his face a little burnt by johnny storm-human torch
Or maybe he'll just voice act a character under the mask it doesn't have to involve the Multiverse.
When will movie studios learn that the movie we real want is Chitty Chitty Bang Bang two?
"Where did your failure bring you, right back to me"
We're just now saying this lmao
marvel has been cooked since endgame
@@neevko267 thank you fellow marvel Cinematic Universe hater
"hey why does dr doom look suspiciously like the now dead Tony Stark?"
"Tony Stark? Nah i don't see the resemblance"
Disney just cant seem to "Let It Go" (Ill see myself out)
Literally the manifestation of "You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain."
He managed to do both.
The worst part about that, is the role of Dr Doom could change an up and coming actor’s life, the same way Iron Man changed RDJ’s life all the way back in 2008. Hopefully they’re doing a council of Doom’s where there’s just a bunch of them from other universes then.
“You either die a hero… or you still die and then get resurrected into a villain…”
RDJ would probably make a good Dr. Doom since he seems to be a pretty good actor in general, but the sign that this casting sends is infact them being cooked
wait until you see who's playing Johnny Storm
Looks like the reign of Disney is coming to an end
I really don't get why they're doing this. Why is producing good media not a goal anymore for big studios. There's no way this is more profitable.
Loki was cool I love all the tech and gagets.
watching deadpool and wolverine was a literal joke for me like 60-70% of the time i had no clue what was going on because i needed to watch 3-4 movies and 4-5 tv shows to understand all the lore going into the movie
Out of all of the stuff that came out after endgame, Moonknight is easily one of the best written superhero as of recent, genuinely so cool.
It is very impressive how every single statement in this video is just wrong.
It's a good thing my timelines are straight up linear and are easy to follow, without loopholes or plotholes here and there.
*The singular beer in question*
💀
"Anchor being"
“You could not live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me.”
Out of all the other options of actors that could play a menacing and villainous character like Mads Mikkelsen, they got RDJ again. Also in the comics Doctor Doom was too impatient for his metal mask to cool down after forging, so he put it on anyways so the hot metal wielded to his face.
Cilian Murphy should’ve been Dr. Doom
We all know this movie is happening because doom himself realised he only has 1 beer left
“I refuse to get excited about something that isn’t supposed to release in 2 years”

GTA 6
Imagine if they announced a new game that took that many years. GTA has its past games that make people care.
Hell, even though I’m still hyped because I joined the MCU hype train during No Way Home and couldn’t see Robert Downey Jr. act without common knowledge spoilers about his entire plot, I still think it actually sucks for those who watched it since the beginning and I have condolences to those people. Ruining a bunch of emotion right there 😬
a wise man once said "Disney's got you until you're 90"
If I pull up to this movie and I don't hear one beer, I'm leaving
dr doom lowkey sounds like what a child would name a villain
I'm actually intrigued as how he'd play as a villain
What hasn’t been a bad sign in marvel?
They could have at least made the reveal of Tony Stark being Dr. Doom a plot twist, but instead they took the lazy way in and decided to reveal it a full 2 years before the movie’s release.
This already says a lot about the quality of the movie, now that they are already being so lazy and the movie hasn’t even gotten a single trailer.
imagine if they cast Charles Dance as Doctor Doom, that would have been phenomenal.
I’m actually happy to see rdj again it’s good to see him again
didn't expect to hear spatnz mention fate of all things. Like he's got a point, its just surpising to hear
Why are they all jumping up and down.
This just ruins his death during endgame.
HIS CONTACT SHOULD HAVE ENDED IN ENDGAME.
7:37 oh no spatnz is a little baby boy. uguu
The problem is they're making them like comics but also trying to connect all of them together.
This reeks of desperation, they lost their main "big bad" with Jonathan Majors and now they are trying desperately to find some kind of hook.
as long as doom never takes his mask off i’m fine
On the topic of Fate when you mentioned it. The issue with Fate is most of it is a branched off timeline of its own. Stay Night is three timelines, Zero is linked to them but leans more to UBW.
FGO is off on the side connecting to basically everything to a degree.
Apocrypha is an alternative timeline to Stay Night in a way if memory serves me correctly but in a completely different location. Strange Fake is another example of this but at the start references the other timelines.
So yeah, Fate is a mess because there is no chronological order to go by unless you're looking for a specific timeline of events.
I think one big issue with Marvel is they’re introducing so many new hero’s inside other heros shows and movies
Whilst one or two is okay, it feels like we can’t have a single movie that isn’t introducing a new hero alongside the front runner
Just. Focus. On. The. Main. Character. And if these new heros are important give them their own show or movie to introduce them stop the character bloat
Isn't Dr.Dooms mask fused to his face or something, like he physically can not take it off.
I'm not a massive marvel fan so I could be wrong
They might as well have just rhett conned his death in end game at this point.
1:25 Looking at that timeline made me cry a little about Agent Carter. That show deserved at least one more season to close its story.
Absolutely from Hero to Zero Moment
The mouse is to blame.
You either die a hero... or live long enough to become a villain.
Robert did both ig
